新春企画？ 75L ボードtestを読み解く

勝手に　新春企画？　とタイトルを付けました．元ネタは上記boardseekerの記事です．

まず本日は，クロス・オン・ライディング．

クロス・オン・ライディングで満点が付いているボードは2本あります．

RRD cultとTabou da curveです．

この2本のうちで興味を引いたのはTabouの方です．

“Unbelievably loose feel with the best backside turn of any board I’ve ever sailed”

“Feels compact, frisky, agile and a lot of fun, particularly in smaller waves. A bit like the old Mistral 84 Twinzer on speed!”

“The short nose and smaller feel do make it a bit more technical to sail. The 80L version would probably be a closer match to the rest of these boards”

 

この表現を見る限り，オンショア用に持ちたくなります．

一方のRRDは，

“Super-loose – you just twitch your toe and it goes where you want it to go”

“It looks big and feels big, but doesn’t actually sail that big, which is great”

“Has that soft, loose, easygoing RRD feel to it, although it’s harder to really engage a rail on a bigger wave”

Cult 83Lを試乗する機会があり，その印象では，twinに近いルース感を感じました．83Lは妙に安定していて，加速感に乏しく，自分にとっては面白みに欠けるボードだと思いました．

RRDはhardcore シリーズがあるので，おそらくそちらの方が自分の好みに合うのではと想像しています．
