英作『悩み6（片付けられない）』答と考え方

6. 彼は片付けができない。

→英作をする時の心構えとして、柔軟に考えるというのがある。考える、ということが、そもそも柔軟さがないと、できないことではあるが。

片付けができない、とはどういうことだろう。

結果から考える。

片付けられない→周りが物だらけである。

・There are so many things in his house.
・There are too many things in his house.

もっと『見える化』してみる。things を具体的に、pants（ズボン）、socks （靴下）dishes（皿）、trash（ゴミ）等を列挙すると、片付けられない感じがでる。always（いつも）をつけると、病的な感じが出ていい。

・There are always so many things around his bed, such as pants, socks, dishes and trash. His house is always dirty( unclean, untidy).

ちなみに、『片付ける』は、通常では、

・tidy up one's room.
・put things in order.
・clean up.
・clean the room.
・clean up the mess.
・give the room a good cleaning.

等の言い方がある。他に考える。

片付けられないとは、出した物が、そのまま床や机に置いてあること。

・There are always so many books on the table, and clothes on the floor.

物だらけで、歩くスペースもないとして、
・He can never walk around in his house because there are so many things on the floor.

片付けられない結果『ゴミ御殿』みたいになると、
・His house is full of trash.
・He has a lot of trash everywhere in his house.

片付けられない＝捨てられない＝全部とっておく

・He buys a lot of things and wants to keep everything. His house is so full of things.
