オートバイは、ライダー自身や他者に対して凶器となる乗り物です。それを未然に防ぐには、適切な操作技術、正しい整備を行なう以前に、身体に合った車両である事が重要です。車両メーカーと販売店は、それに必要な情報を提供し、注意や警告の義務を負っていますが、充分に行なわれず、オートバイの評判を下げています。
