『アンプは何ワット必要？vol.1』の続きです。
8畳間で、90dB/wのスピーカーを使用する場合に
アンプの必要なパワーを計算してみます。
まず、どの程度の音量で聴くかを決めます。
以下は音量の目安です。
100dB 自動車のクラクション
90dB 犬の鳴き声・騒々しい工場内
80dB 地下鉄の車内・ピアノの音
70dB 掃除機
60dB チャイム
80dBで聴くこととします。
8畳間なのでスピーカーとリスナーの距離は2m程となります。
以上の条件から、
スピーカーが発生する音量は92dBとなります。
アンプからスピーカーへ供給される電力は1.6w必要です。
ただし、これは平均値ですので、
ピークがどの程度あるかを考える必要があります。
ポップスでしたら5倍程度でもよいかと思いますが、
クラシックでは10倍は必要です。
つまり、アンプのパワーは8～16W以上必要ということになります。

When the speaker of 90 dB/w is used in the 13-square meter room,
Let's calculate required Power of amplifier.
First, it is decided with what volume it is heard.
The following is a standard of volume.
100 dB ... Horn of a car
90 dB ... Dog which barks. Inside of a factory
80 dB ... In the car of a subway. Sound of a piano
70 dB ... Vacuum cleaner
60 dB ... Chime
Suppose that it is heard at 80 dB.
The distance of a speaker and listeners is 2 m.
From the above conditions,
The volume which a speaker generates is set to 92 dB.
The power supplied to a speaker from amplifier is 1.6w necessity.
However, this is average value.
A peak is considered.
5 times may be sufficient when it is a popular song.
Classical is 10 times more nearly required.
That is, 8-16W or more of power of amplifier is needed.
