『続・低音がほしい！！ vol.2』の続きです。
低音の感じ方について考えてみます。
一般に低音と言えば、ベースやバスドラです。
周波数では200-500Hzです。
アナログレコードで「低域の厚味」が感じられるのもこの帯域です。
50-200Hzは音の迫力を形成する帯域。
音楽の勢いやダイナミックといったワードはこの帯域です。
50Hz以下は空気を感じる帯域です。
この帯域の楽器はほとんどありません。
しかし、この帯域によって音にリアリティがでてきます。
この帯域は耳で聴くよりも、
むしろ体が風を感じるという表現が近いとおもいます。
CDの低域を増強してもアナログレコードの音にはなりません。
低域の増強はベースをボンボンさせるためでなく、
音のリアリティを追求するために行われるべきです。
不必要な低音増強はかえって有害です。

50-200 Hz is a zone which forms the force of sound.
Musical vigor and word of being dynamic are this zone.
50 Hz or less is a zone which feels air.
There is almost no musical instrument of this zone.
However, a reality appears in sound by this zone.
It is a zone which the body feels rather than hearing it with an ear.
Even if it reinforces bass of CD,
it does not become the sound of an analog record.
Low-pass reinforcement should not be performed for contrabass.
It should be carried out in order to pursue the reality of sound.
Unnecessary bass reinforcement is harmful.
