本日は、春から真夏に掛けまして重宝して頂けると思いますコットンマドラスのBDシャツを

胸ポケットは排除致しました、これ以上削り用の無いスタンダードなBDシャツになります。

ボタン数も6ボタンになりますのでカジュアルに着て頂く場合は、第一ボタンを開けて頂くだけで丁度良い

塩梅になると思います。

初夏から真夏に掛けましてT-SHで過ごされる方も多いかと思いますが、実際のところT-SHよりシャツの

方が涼しいと思うのです。

其れも麻素材やマドラスチェックなどは通気性も良くて汗も乾きやすい素材になりますので、T-SHより

シャツを着用されるのをお勧めします。

実際、初夏から夏本番の南フランスなどのリゾート地では、バミューダショーツ姿の御仁は多いのですが

ロングスリーブのシャツを男臭くお袖捲りされている方が多いですね。

そして足元は、ビットモカシンであったりローフォーなど特にスウェード素材を好まれる方も多いですね。

麻素材にチョコレートスウェードなどは本当に相性抜群となりますしね。

話は又それておりますので、本題のマドラスチェックのシャツに戻しますね。

The chest pocket has been removed, making this a standard BD shirt that doesn't need any more trimming.

There are six buttons, so if you want to wear it casually, just leave the first button open and it will look just right.

Many people wear T-shirts from early summer to mid-summer, but I actually think that shirts are cooler than T-shirts.

Materials such as linen and madras check are breathable and dry quickly, so I recommend wearing a shirt rather than a T-shirt.

In fact, in resort areas such as southern France from early summer to full summer, many people wear Bermuda shorts, but many people wear long-sleeved shirts with their sleeves rolled up for a manly look.

I'm one of those people who likes to daydream.

こちらは、先月出向きましたトレジャーハンティング中の出来事になります。

ナポリのシャツ専業メーカーBARBAでは、

This is what happened during a treasure hunt I went on last month.

At BARBA, a shirt manufacturer in Naples,

BARBA氏から直々に伝授頂きました！

此のBARBA氏は、叔父にクラシコイタリーの総帥とも云えるKitonの総帥Ciro Paone氏を持ち、

Ciro Paone氏から、

（Kitonに来ないか？）と誘われたそうですが、其の返答は、

（BARBAをKitonみたいにしたい！）と断られたそうです。

元来シャツ専業メーカーとして其の地位をイタリア全土から北米市場までと幅を広げまして

今やスーツ専業工場を傘下にしまして、トータルブランドまで築き上げております。

そんなBARBA氏ですが、僕みたいな小さなお店の要望にも嫌な顔一つせずに

（OK!OK!)と細かなディテールや縫製指示なども引き受けてくれました。

I learned this directly from Barba!

Barba's uncle is Ciro Paone, the CEO of Kiton, who is also the CEO of Classico Italia.

He asked Barba if he would like to come to Kiton, but he declined, saying that he wanted to make BARBA like Kiton.

Originally a shirt manufacturer, they expanded their presence from all over Italy to the North American market,

and now they have factories that specialize in suits under their umbrella, building a total brand.

Despite this, Barba was not averse to the requests of a small shop like mine, and they accepted the small details and sewing instructions with a "OK! OK!".

お袖が手縫いとなります。

身頃のアームホールよりお袖側のアームホールを広く取りまして手縫いでいせ込んで縫製する事で腕の可動域

自身が広く成る訳なんです。

The sleeves are hand-sewn.

The armholes on the sleeve side are wider than the armholes on the body and are hand-sewn to give the arms a wider range of motion.

着用しますと、こんな感じになります。

通称雨振袖と言われまして、イタリアではマニカカミーチャと言われております。

そして通常のシャツは脇からお袖までを一気に縫い上げますが、身頃は身頃で縫い上げまして

お袖はお袖で縫い上げ最終的にお袖を、此の様に捻って縫製しております。

And while a normal shirt is sewn from the armpit to the sleeve in one go, the body is sewn together,

and the sleeves are sewn together, and finally the sleeves are twisted and sewn like this.

前振袖になっております。

かなり手間の掛かる縫製になりますが、職人さんの手の温かみを感じさせてくれますね。

良い商品とは、人の手がどれだけ掛かっているかなのかもしれませんね。

This is a front-length kimono.

It takes a lot of time and effort to sew, but you can really feel the warmth of the craftsman's hands.

Perhaps a quality product is determined by how much human effort goes into it.

こちらの剣先の閂止めも手縫いになります。

どうしても米国東海岸のBROOKS BROTHERSのイメージが強いもので勘違いなされている方も

多いのでは無いでしょうか！

そもそもレジメンタルタイは、英国Atkinsons発祥の1本になります。

ですからアイビーの総本山BROOKS BROTHERSではストライプタイと呼ぶそうです。

僕も息子から教えて頂きました。

本日、ご紹介致します1本は、英国でも米国でもなくて、イタリア発祥のストライプタイになります。

イタリア北西部の織物の産地コモ湖で毎シーズン新しいテキスタイルを表現しております

FRANCO BASSIのストライプタイのご紹介です。

Regimental ties are not American in origin, but are derived from the British military.

Many people have a strong image of BROOKS BROTHERS on the East Coast of the United States, so they may be mistaken!

In the first place, regimental ties originated from Atkinsons in the UK.

That's why they are called striped ties at BROOKS BROTHERS, the home of Ivy League.

My son told me that too.

The one I'd like to introduce today is a striped tie that originated not in the UK or the US, but in Italy.

If you repeatedly wear and wash both the shirt and the coverall,

We designed the coverall because we thought it would look stylish and attractive when worn over a Bermuda and T-shirt style in midsummer.

なぜかと申しますと、70年のデッドストックのベーカーパンツ生地で作りましたスーツにサックスブルーが

良く映えるからなんですね。

此のスーツも洗濯を繰り返しましてエエ感じの経年変化を遂げてくれております。

大人が遊べるスーツですね。

勿論、セパレートでもご使用できるのも嬉しいですしね。

I coordinated it with a sax blue Blu-ray shirt!

The reason is that the sax blue color looks great on a suit made from deadstock baker pants fabric from the 1970s.

This suit has also been washed many times and has aged nicely.

It's a suit that adults can have fun with.

今回は、此のベージュのオックスフォードのBDシャツを企画してみました！

生成りくらいまではよく有ると思うのですが、ベージュは少ないのではないでしょうか！

其れも男好きされます肉厚なオックスフォード素材になります。

It is made of a thick Oxford material that men will love.

最近は見せかけのガゼットも多いのですが、此のシャツは前身頃と後身頃を別々に縫製しまして最後に

合わせ縫いますので、断ち切り部分にガゼットが必要となる訳なんです。

There is a gusset at the side hem.

Recently, many shirts have just a fake gusset, but this shirt is made by sewing the front and back separately and then sewing them together at the end,

so a gusset is needed at the raw edge.

3mm幅になります。

プレスなどされますとビジネスにもお使い頂けるクオリティーのシャツになります。

As the shirt is sewn in a dress factory, the folded seams at the sides are 3mm wide.

Once pressed, the shirt becomes of a quality suitable for business use.
