If I could find a place to have a piece of cake after a long walk, I never fail to have it. This white Mont Blanc is made of soft cheese. Very delicious one.

From the Hamamatsucho station one can watch over the Shiba park. It's a very good view on a hot day from the inside of the glass wall of the well air-conditioned concourse of station.

芝浦妙法稲荷 culte mixte

This shrine has a very strange appearance. The upper is a pagoda with the Budda and the lower is the typical woman diva god (Kishimojinn or Kariteimo Inari) shrine. This is a mixture of Buddhism and Shintoism which is one of the typical compromising culture in Japan.

In the 1950s, this place was used as a jetty of a canal-side restaurant. After the closing of the restaurant, they built the wooden barricade wall. Now it is broken and almost falling down into the Shiba canal. The long time have passed. I can only imagine the days of boats floating on the water with a beautiful geisha girls and rich clients.
