世尊が大衆の中にいる
The World Honored One is among the assembly
深遠な法の義を広く説く
Expounding profound principles of the Dharma
一つ一つの仏国土
Each individual Buddha-land
声聞の集まりは数えきれない
Countless assemblies of Śrāvakas
仏の光によって照らされる
Illuminated by the Buddha's light
その大衆を全て見る
Seeing all of that great assembly
ある比丘たちがいる
There are some monks
山林の中にいる
Residing in mountains and forests
精進して清らかな戒律を守る
Striving to uphold pure precepts
光る宝石を守るように
Like guarding a luminous jewel
また多くの菩薩を見る
Also seeing many Bodhisattvas
布施や忍辱などを行う
Practicing generosity, patience, and so on
その数は恒沙（ガンジス川の砂の数）のようだ
As numerous as the sands of the Ganges
これは仏光によって照らされた
Illuminated by the Buddha's light
また多くの菩薩を見る
Also seeing many Bodhisattvas
深く禅定に入る
Deeply entering meditative states
体と心が静寂で動かない
Their body and mind are silent and immovable
無上の道を求めるために
To seek the unsurpassed path
また多くの菩薩を見る
Also seeing many Bodhisattvas
法の静寂で消滅した状態を知る
Understanding the tranquil and extinguished nature of the Dharma
各々その国土で
Each in their respective land
教えを説き仏道を求める
Teaching the Dharma and seeking the Buddha-path
