その時四部（比丘、比丘尼、優婆塞、優婆夷）衆が
At that time, the fourfold assembly
日月燈仏を見る
Seeing Nichigatsu Tō Buddha
偉大な神通力を現す
Displaying great supernatural powers
その心は皆喜んだ
Their hearts were all joyful
それぞれ互いに尋ね合う
Each asked one another
この事（事柄、儀式）は何の因縁か
What is the cause of this?
天人が敬う尊い存在
The revered by heavenly beings
ちょうど三昧から起きた
Just having arisen from samadhi
妙光菩薩を賞賛する
Praising Myoho Bodhisattva
あなたは世間の目である
You are the eyes of the world
すべてが帰依して信じる
All take refuge and believe
仏法の教えを保持できる
Capable of upholding the Dharma treasure
私が説いた教えの通りに
As I have taught the Dharma
あなたのみが証明し知る
Only you can realize and know
世尊がすでに賞賛した
The World Honored One has already praised
妙光を喜ばせる
Causing Myoho to rejoice
この法華経を説く
Preaching the Lotus Sutra
六十小劫が満ちる
Completing sixty small kalpas
この座から起き上がらない
Not rising from this seat
説かれた最上の教え
The supreme and exquisite teaching
この妙光法師は
This is the Dharma Master Myoho
すべて受け取り保持できる
All are able to receive and uphold
