「STAND BY ME」は、
〈神奈川県相模原市のボーカル教室カヌマミュージックスクールです〉
ジョン・レノンが1975年にリリースしたアルバム「Rock 'n' Roll」に収録されている曲で、ベン・E・キングの楽曲「Stand by Me」をカバーしたもの。原曲は1961年にリリースされ（全米１位）、この曲は、映画「スタンド・バイ・ミー」（1896、MV英国１位）の主題歌としても有名。
映画の主題歌で「ああ、知っている]という人が多いかも。
カヌマが弾き語り時代、この曲が大好きなお客さんがいて、よく一緒に歌ったことを懐かしく思い出します。
