もう一つ限定番号のお話
私は以前 ○○/500A という番号の入った
作品を見た事があります。
版画では非常に有名な方で 今は版画制作をやめて
現代美術的な活動をしている人です。（日本人）
この 500A が気になります。
多分 500B も 500C もあるものと
思われます。（確認してませんが）
なんせ世界的な人気作家ですから
1000部や2000部刷ったのではないでしょうか。
単なる印刷物ではないという意味の
限定番号ですね。
ちなみに その方の版画は今暴落しています。
This is another edition number story.
I've seen a Hanga with an edition number "oo/500A"
It was a print by a world-famous Japanese artist
who doesn't print-make any more,
and is engaged in modern art activities.
I'm interested in this 500A.
Perhaps there can be 500B and 500C as well,
I haven't confirmed it though.
As he was so popular, he might have printed 1000~
2000 sheets out of one work.
I think this case applies to the reason 1,
that I wrote why we put an edition number
(the blog on May 19)
This edition number namely tells us
" this is not just printed matters"
By the way, the price of his Hanga has fallen sharply.
