愛国心について思う！

 

民族主義的教育を思うとき

その教育をどのように進めるかは

その国の民族的文化の質を

決めるキーポイントになります。

 

他国の民族を

否定することから始まる教育は

最悪といえるでしょう。

 

最も必要なことは

愛国心を育てることは

先ず人と人との

心のかかわりの中から始まります。

長い時間、

気の遠くなるような過去からの現在に至るまで

まわりの人々との交わりが続いてきました。

その過程で友情を深め、連帯意識を感じ

生きる苦労を共にしてきました。

 その中で

先達たちによる

自然に溶け合った汗と苦悩・苦渋

そして発見・発明・創造の結晶を

今に生かしてきました。

 

ちなみに

代々積み上げてきた歴史、伝統、文化、

 それらを子々孫々が大事に継承・発展させてきました。

その過程で

そこに先祖に対する感謝、

郷土の発展に尽力してきた

仲間たちに対する感謝の

気持ちが芽生えてくるに違いありません。

 

それらのことを通じて、

湧き上がってくる郷土愛、祖国愛を

自らが汲み取ることによって

深い絆と愛情を感ぜずにはおれなくなる

という自然の心情といえるでしょう。

 

他国を自他ともによく理解せずして

罵倒し否定する教育では

真の健全な愛国心は育たないでしょう。

 

つまり、愛国心は

あくまで自国の伝統・文化を深く広く理解し、

過去から日本人が

その歴史と伝統・文化と

如何に代々生きながらにして関わってきたかを学び、

更にその長所短所を見極めながら

継続・発展させていくことによって

はじめて目覚め育っていくものでしょう。

 

同時に

他国の歴史的伝統や文化を理解し、認め、

敬意を表し尊重する、

またその良いところを讃え合うこと

更にお互いが競い合い、高め合うことが

国際協調や融和を

保つすべとなるに違いありません。

 

 またそういうことが

自国と他国の中に共通の文化や

歴史に負うところのものを

現在の自国の文化の到達点の中にも

発見することも

多々あるということにも

気づくこともあるものです。

 

他者なくして現在の自分も存在しえない

ということに気付くに違いありません。

I kept it alive in now.

The history, tradition, the culture that I piled up from generation to generation,
I let posterity succeeded to them carefully and develop.
In the process
There the thanks for ancestors,
I made an effort for development of the native district
Of the thanks for friends
A feeling must arise.
Through those things,
Regionalism, the amor patriae which well up
By oneself taking consideration into it
I come to cannot help feeling deep bond and love
It may be said that it is a feeling of という nature.
Without own others being good together, and understanding other countries
By the education to abuse it, and to deny
The true healthy patriotism will not grow up.
In other words, the patriotism
I understand a tradition, the culture of the own country widely deeply to the last,
From the past a Japanese
With the history and tradition, culture
I learn how you were concerned while growing from generation to generation,
Furthermore, while ascertaining the good point bad point
By continuation developing it
It will be the thing which wakes for the first time, and grows.
At the same time
I understand the historic tradition and culture of other countries and recognize it,
I show respect and respect it,
Praising the good place again
Furthermore, what each other competes and raises
International coordination and harmony
It must become the means to keep.
Again such a thing
The culture that is common in an own country and other countries
The thing of the place to owe to the history
In the terminus ad quem of the culture of the current own country
