Cabbage SPs, coating stage C1, the shuttle?

I wonder what happened to the shuttle launch.
Isn't that supposed to be in the early hours of today?

Anyway, today was just like yesterday, except for
the regular Kamakura thing. The route was in absolute
caos!

It took me something like 3 hours, removing the polyps
from more than 120 artefacts, and coating them. They are
now on C1. Here are 2 images.

They were already looking glossy, after 3 coatings
wth A. They are now going to be even glossier, with
6 further coatings with C, before being suddenly made mat!

Earlier, I talked about polyps, touching slightly on
removing of them. I tell you a little more.

There are those you can immediately identify, mostly
on the positive curvature of the stems, very occasionally
on the peripherals of the cavity.

Identifiables are easy to remove. However, there are
so many other tiny blips you need to remove as well.
Trouble is that you cannot see them. They are so tiny.

What you have to do is to feel around down the entire length of
each artefact. If you feel something you slide sharp edges
around that area. That is about the only way for

removing very tiny blips. So, with more than 120 of them,
you can well imagine the time it takes to complete
the entire operation, leaving a limited time for

anything else for the day.

Still, I managed to fabricate the second of the large,
deep cavity SP. Photos are shown below.

This is after 2,3 minutes with the SPIKY. Below is shown
the photo after 15minutes, or, thereabout. Top end of
the SPIKY is also seen.

Now, I have 2 cabbage SPs, as shown below.

You may now ask what these SPs are meant for.
My answer to that is "I do not know!" I made them
just for the fun of it.

While forming the concave surface for today's I was
wondering how I made the few earlier SPs. I am
dead certain that I did not have my SPIKY then.

I also remember that one professional cook
bought one of these, praising it extremely
higly. That was when? 3 years back by now?

It simply amazes me that I was able to form
the same cavity, without my SPIKY. How long might it
have taken, I do not know.

Altogether, though, I pride myself on achieving
all these. I have come a long way to where I stand now.
Always trying to improve my skills, and my tools...

I really feel like crying on somebody's shoulder!

A postcript, you know something?
Switching from Japanese to Engllish
was good. I do not get even a single junk comment!

I should have done this much earlier!
