今日も、、、Started painting store wall at 9:00 am

今日も朝９時から作業。
まだまだあるなあ、、、、。
It is just 9:00 am.




夫がしぶしぶ貸してくれたMP3プレイヤーで、レゲエやヒップホップを聴きながらノリノリです。
が、一生懸命塗っているのに一向に進んでいるように見えず、、、。
I'm painting all by my self this time.



オーナーさんのリクエストで、７ヶ月になる息子のリュウちゃんを描きました

夜８時までがんばった！
I worked all day till 8:00 pm today.

うちでは夫がご飯を作って子供の面倒を見て、がんばってた！
ありがたい
My husband is cooking and taking care of our kids at home.
Good husband!

明日仕上げますよ
I will finish this tomorrow.

店舗2日目 PAINTING STORE WALL, SECOND DAY

色を付け始めました。
まだ、内装工事の終わってない店内。
職人さんたちがお仕事する中で、私もこつこつ働きました。
（この時は、みなさんお昼休憩中）

I started coloring the wall.
Workers are still doing carpentry.
I was painting while the indoor handymen were around.
(They were on their lunch break when I took this picture.)





職人さんたちの朝は早い。
6時頃には現場にやって来て働き出すんだそうです。
お弁当を作る奥さんたちは大変だなあ、、、、と思っていると、皆さんコンビニに弁当買いに行ったわ～～

Workmen get up very early.
They usually go to work at 6 in the morning!
I admire the wives who make lunch boxes for their husbands every morning.
But they all went to the convenience store to get OBENTOU!!


デジカメのバッテリ切れで、この後写真撮れず、、、

My digital camera run out of battery.
I couldn't take any more pictures.


一日中壁に向かって腕を動かして、肩甲骨がバリバリするよー

I'm getting stiff shoulders from moving my arms up and down all day!

今度は室内の壁！ PAINTING A WALL AGAIN!

田園都市線鷺沼駅前の、とある店舗さんからご依頼いただきました。
店内の壁の一面に、絵を描かせていただきます
来週新規オープンです。

I got an order from a new store near Saginuma station on Denentoshi line.
I'm painting a wall in a store!
They are going to open next week.






高さ2.5m、横幅7m。
けっこう大きいです。
“海のイメージ”で、、、、ということで。

height 2.5m, width 7m
It's pretty big.
“Image of the sea” is their request.



ひとり、もくもくと。。。。

長細～い店内です。
通りがかりの人たちが興味深そうに「何屋さんですか？」と、聞いていきます。

さて、何でしょう？

I'm working hard!

It's a long, narrow store.
Some people who passed by were interested and asked,
“What kind of store is it going to be?”

Well, what do you think?

シャッター完成！！ PAINTING SHUTTERS

一昨日の日曜日。
この日は朝９：３０スタート！

We started at 9:30 a.m. last Sunday.




先週とうってかわって暖かな日、背中に太陽を浴びて暑いくらい

It was much warmer than last week.
I even felt hot with all of the sunshine.




高い場所は男性が大活躍！
助かりました～

どうしてもこの日に仕上げたかったので、お昼も立ったまま、、、お店の方が出してくださったオニギリとたこ焼きをかじりながらがんばりました。

Men worked hard on painting the high places!
Thank you～～～!

I really wanted to finish this on that day so I couldn't waste my time for lunch.
I just stood there and ate some rice balls and TAKOYAKI that the store treated us to.





午後５：００。
できたわ～～～
沢山の方のご協力のおかげで2日間で仕上げることができました。
ありがとうございました
とっても楽しかったー！！！

今度はシャッター PAINTING A SHUTTER

生協のお店から頼まれました

台風で大荒れ！！？？　と心配したけど、雨は昨夜やんで無事決行！


A co-op store asked me to paint their shutters.

We were worried that a typhoon might reach this area today, but it stopped raining last night.
So we did it!




お店のスタッフさんや組合員の方々

今回もワイワイ楽しいです。

でこぼこシャッターは想像以上に描きづらくて、下絵だけでも苦戦しました～
えんぴつでの下描きもできないので、いきなりバサバサ描いていく！


They are store workers and members.

It was harder to paint the uneven surface than I expected.
It took me long time to make just a sketch.
I just drew outlines directly on the shutter.





小学校の門をやった時は、暑く暑くてアイスノンをタオルに包んで首に巻いておりました。
今日は日差しがなく、ヒンヤリ
みんな、背中にカイロを貼っております。


It was terribly hot when I painted my son's school gate.
I wrapped a towel around my neck with an ice pad in it.
Today, it is chilly day without sunlight.
We all had hot pads on our backs.

今日はここまで～～。おつかれさまデシタ！！
一日でここまで出来ました。

大きな場所に描くのって楽しいワ～～～
続きは来週日曜日。
