難しかったけれど、面白い
焼成する前は色がとても薄くて出来上がりが想像しづらかったので、どんな仕上がりになるんだろうとドキドキしながら待っていた。
一週間後に教室から送られて来たマグカップ。
初めてにしてはなかなかいいんじゃない？と自己満足。
アメリカには一般の人がリーズナブルな値段で気軽に陶器絵付けできる場所が沢山あると、指導してくれた作家さんがおしえてくれた。
『日本ではポタリーがなかなか流行らない。もっと気軽にやってほしいのに』
陶芸だけに限らず、日本ではアートにお金がかかりすぎなのだ。
ダンスのレッスン代は３倍だし、コンサートも芝居も高い。
アメリカでは観ることが出来た有名なバレエの舞台も、日本に来るとお気軽な値段ではなくなってしまうので、私には行けない。
もっともっと安くして、もっともっと沢山の子供や大人が、素晴らしいアートに触れることができるようになればいいと願う。
芸術は心の栄養だから、、、。
心が豊かになればそれだけ人生を楽しめる。
生きる元気も湧いて来る。
日本人は、今よりもっと幸せになるると思うんだけどなあ。。。
。。。って、短絡的！？

These colors were very pale before baking.
If you don't have enough experience, it's hard to tell how the finished product will look.
I couldn't wait to see it.
The mug was sent to me from the pottery class after a week.
I don't think it's too bad for the first time.
An artist who's doing pottery class said that there are many places for ordinary people to go and paint pottery for a reasonable price in the States.
But it's not so popular here in Japan.
She wants to make it more accessible.
Art in general is too expensive in Japan.
Everything is expensive.
Dance lesson costs tripled compared to ones in the U.S.
Concerts and plays are expensive too
I enjoyed watching some performances of famous ballet companies when I was in NYC but I can't go see them here because they cost too much.
Arts should be more affordable for everybody.
If they were, then many adults and kids would be able to get to know beautiful arts.
Art is nutrition for the soul.
You'll enjoy your life more if you have peace of mind.
You'll get more energy for life.
Then Japanese people will be much happier!
