UC BERKELEYと云えば、思い出すのは古着屋さん時代にLAで未だラグハウスには入れなかった為、
（駆け出しの頃）
スリフトショップやユーズドクロージングショップそれから高価ではありましたが、ヴィンテージショップなど
回ってピックしていました時代に古着の先輩から紹介されたのが、KトレーディングのSさん！
江戸っ子のSさんは、絵に描いた様なアイビーファッションに身を包んだ素敵な方で、古着より新品のアメリカ物に
詳しくて、其の頃からアメリカ物の新品も少しづつ扱う様になりましたね。
お住まいはトーレンスで家にはSAABとJEEPが車庫に収まっており、芝生の庭には５〜６匹（はっきり覚えておりません
ので）のゴールデンリトリーバーが走りまわっておりました。
まるで絵に描いた様なアメリカンスタイルに感動したもんです。
僕もいつかは永住したい！と思ったもんです。
色々なアメリカ物の商品の仕入れを手伝って頂きまして、素敵なレストランなども紹介して頂きまして、楽しく
お話もさせて頂きました。
ある時、ふっとSさんの右手の薬指に目が留まりまして、
（カレッジリングですか？）と尋ねたところ、
（あっ！そうそう僕UC BERKELEY行ったんだよ！）とさり気なく。
僕達などは、ファッションでヴィンテージのカレッジリングなどはめておりましたが、
本物は本当にカッコイイと感動させられました！
冬場でもJEEPは常にオープントップのSさん、少々寒かったけどLAですから流れ行く景観に感動したもんです。
これがUC BERKELEYの思い出になります。
さて前菜が長くなりましたが、
Speaking of UC BERKELEY, I remember when I was a second-hand clothing store in LA and I couldn't enter the rag house yet.

Mr. S from K Trading was introduced to me by a second-hand clothing senior when I was going around and picking!
Mr. S, an Edokko, is a wonderful person dressed in a picture-perfect ivy fashion.
He was very knowledgeable, and from that time on, he began to handle new American products little by little.
I live in Torrance and I have SAAB and JEEP in the garage and 5-6 in the lawn (I don't remember clearly).

I was impressed by the American style, which was like a painting.
I want to live permanently someday! That's what I thought.
They helped me purchase various American products, and introduced me to wonderful restaurants, which made me happy.
I was able to talk to you too.
One day, my eyes caught on Mr. S's right ring finger,

We used to wear vintage college rings for fashion,
The real thing was really cool and moved!
Even in winter, the JEEP always has an open top. It was a little cold, but it was LA, so I was impressed by the flowing scenery.

僕達世代の方は、憧れの大学ですよね。
確か映画卒業のベンの彼女が通っていた大学がUC BERKELEYだったと記憶しています。
ベンはアイビーリーグのコロンビア大学だったと。
当時、中学1年生の僕には、このアイビー映画はとても斬新かつ感動させられたもんでした。
アイビーファッションも当然ですが、ベンが駆る真っ赤なアルファロメオにも。
余談が多過ぎますよね。
