MINKってお色に惹かれました！
昨年、ヨーロッパに出向いた際、パリでどのセレクトショップも展開しておりましたのが、
I was attracted to the color MINK!
Last year, when I went to Europe, every select shop in Paris had it.
こちらのMINKスウェードのBOSTONなんです！
BIRKENSTOCKでも定番中の定番BOSTONなんですが、お色がMINKスウェードに成るだけで
全体の着熟しのイメージにアメリカ臭さが演出されると思うのです！
（僕の主観になりますが）
パリジャンも僕達と同じでアメリカには憧れを持っておりまして、アメリカ臭い着熟しも大好きだと思うのですが、
色のコーディネィトだったりサイズ感などでヨーロッパな目線のアメリカを表現するのが上手いですね！
しかしよくよく店員さんの着ているものをチェックしますと、
ハットはフィレンツェのSUPERDUPER HATだったりジーンズはRESOLUTEだったりシャツはBAGUTTAなどと
世界中のトラディッショナルなブランドをミックスでコーディネィト為されているが多くて全体のイメージは
アメトラな雰囲気ですが、色々な老舗ブランドをミックスされる方が多いですね。
そんなコーディネィトにMINKスウェードのBOSTONを上手にコーディネィトされている方を沢山拝見致しました。
日本では全く流行っていなかったので、やはり日本と欧米の流行は違うのだなと思わせられました。
このような経緯で、今期僕もMINKスウェードのBOSTONをオーダーしておきました！
This is the MINK suede BOSTON!
The BOSTON is a classic among BIRKENSTOCK's classics, but I think that the MINK suede color
gives the overall image of the ripeness a more American feel!
(This is my opinion)
Parisians, like us, have a longing for America, and I think they love the American ripeness,
but they are good at expressing the European perspective of America through color coordination and size!
However, when I look closely at what the store clerks are wearing,
they often mix and match traditional brands from around the world, such as a SUPERDUPER HAT from Florence, jeans from RESOLUTE, and shirts from BAGUTTA, so the overall image is Americana, but many people mix various long-established brands.
I have seen many people who skillfully coordinate MINK suede BOSTON with such outfits.
It wasn't popular at all in Japan, so it made me realise that fashion in Japan is different from that in the West.
That's why I ended up ordering the MINK suede BOSTON this season!

BOSTONの場合は、サイドのベルトで足の甲を固定してあげて下さい！
基本、BIRKENSTOCKの場合足の指は固定しなくて
（歩行の際、足の指は常に路面を掴んでおりますので、足の指が動いていないと足にも悪いのです）
甲で固定するのが正常な訳なんです。
ARIZONAや他のサンダルなども同じ仕組みになります。
爪先に指一本分の余裕をもたせてフットベッド内に足の踵がすっぽり収まっているのが正常な履き方になります。
よくフットベッドに踵が乗っている方など見ますが、それは小さいサイズを履いてしまっております。
If you're wearing BOSTON, make sure to secure the instep with the side straps!
Basically, BIRKENSTOCK shoes do not secure the toes
(When walking, your toes are always gripping the ground, so if your toes don't move, it's bad for your feet)
The correct way to secure them is at the instep.
The same mechanism is used for ARIZONA and other sandals.
The correct way to wear them is when your heel is completely seated inside the footbed, with one finger's worth of space at the toes.
I often see people with their heels resting on the footbed, but that's because they're wearing a size too small.

ラグベストなどコーディネィト為さるのもお勧めですね！
基本的にはアイビースタイルなのですが、MINKのBOSTONとTrujillosのベストで多少のHOBO的な要素も
取り入れた着熟しになります。
トラディッショナルな着熟しの外しにBOSTONは、お勧めですね。
We have planned a boys' bespoke BD shirt using French linen, and have custom ordered it from Trujillos using deadstock rugs.
We recommend coordinating it with a rug vest!
The basic look is Ivy League style, but with MINK's BOSTON and a Trujillos vest, it also has a bit of a HOBO feel to it.
We recommend BOSTON for breaking down traditional styles.
