同年にパティ・ペイジがレコーディング、同年の3～5月に全米No.1のミリオン・ヒットとなりました。

やはり、彼女は1950年代を代表する歌手の一人ですね。
60年代には『お嫁に行きたい』(Most People Got Married)をリリースしたのですがほとんどヒットしませんでした。
結局、映画主題歌『ふるえて眠れ』 (Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte) が最後のヒットになりました。
この他にも、『ママ人形の歌』『モッキンバード・ヒル』『ゴールデン・イヤリング』『アラバマに星落ちて』なども
