人間関係は何の力によって導かれるのだろう

How human relationships be led by a force?

ある人に会い

Meeting someone

生きている実感を

体の全細胞で感じられることもあれば

It makes actual feeling that being alive

-through all body cells

ある人に会い

Meeting someone

生きている苦しみ、その息苦しさで

窒息しそうな感じを受けたりする

It also makes receiving feeling like suffocated

-as a suffered one who on hard to breathing

生きていてよかったと思わせる人に会うと

When meet someone who makes feel live alive is good

自分一人の自我は

-an ego of oneself is

この世の自我類の部分にすぎないことを

-merely be a part of Ego kinds in this world  

認識できる力が伝わる

-a recognizable force will be transmitted  

生きることの苦しみを伝える人に会うと

When meet someone who conveys agony of live a life

その苦しみを否定するか

Deny the suffering or

その生きづらさに同調するかの

Do sympathy with the difficulty of living

暗黙の要求を受けてしまう

It has given such requests in implicit

この世に生を受け

Received a life in this world

寿命を与えられ

Given a lifetime

生きることになった以上

As well as became to live

命を生きることが人間の仕事であろう

Live the life would be a human being’s task

その中で生じる苦しみは

A suffering produced during live a life

どんなに辛くても

No matter how it is hard

死ぬよりは楽なはずだ

It should be easier than dying

生きることに目覚めた人は

Someone who awakened to live

生きていながら死んでいく人に

-to people who are going to die while living

死を分離させていく力を持たせる

-the one can give a power to the dying people which

-can separate death from life

生から死を分離できると

If can separate death from a death

生に可動領域が広がっていく

-the movable territory to live can be expanded

生きている間に

While live a life

死の意識を生から分離させれば

If can separate cognition of death from life

生の部分が広がる

Then the life part can be widened

死は必ずくるものだから

Because of a death comes definitely

影のように光が斜めに射している時のみ現れる

It appears like shadow which light shines obliquely only  

光りが真上に射している時は

When the light shines directly above

死の影は視覚的に現れない

The shadow of death does not visibly appear

坐禅の行い方―坐る

How to perform Zazen-the sitting

坐っていると

While sitting

死は真っ下に置かれ

Death is placed at right bottom

生は真っすぐに伸びる

Life stretches straight

死から真っすぐに伸びる生を視覚化することにより

By visualizing life which is stretched straight from death

生きることを明かすことができる

Life can be revealed

生きることを明かすことにより

By revealing to be lived

死ぬことの根拠

Fundamental basis of death is

その力を減らすことができる

-be reduced its force on life

坐禅の無動の行為は

The immovable performing on doing Zazen

無動によって

By its immobility

生を可動させる力の変換になるだろう

It will be a transformation of life force that make life dynamic
