Japanese curry culture's origin is the meal of the old Japanese navy, they say.
Yokosuka is the JSDF navy's center port and the base port of U.S. Navy's 7th fleet. So in many restaurants of the Yokosuka they serve lots of variety of "navy curry and rice". But I prefer not-navy-curry and rice to so called Navy Curry.
This chicken with the curry soup of the Corsaire is very good.
Cafe restaurant Corsaire is in the Park Verny very near the Yokosuka station.
