新幹線橋脚の夏 feuilles de sarment

Behind the leaves of vine plant insects and their predators, lizards, snakes, creep up and down. And this season on the surface of the posts of Shinkansen line lots of cicadas rest. Crows and bulbuls try to hunt these big insects.
Yesterday I watched a sparrow trying to attack a cicada in vain.

日焼けする錆 rouille rouge

This area is very near to the Tokyo bay. The iron things are rusted for a short time. The rails are easily rusted. And the wheels of train grind the rust off all through the day, all through the year. Thus the railroads are colored in rust red.

The workers of music (rock'n'roll , jazz and blues) place revive the famous festival stall of a butcher's who closed the shop last year. We missed it last Summer. I intended to have at the forth or fifth evening. But I couldn't do it owing to the job.

吉沢精肉店最後の夏 Tanabata vieille

This is my last picture of the Yoshizawa butcher's stall in the Asagaya Tanabata festival. I'd loved the many kind of baked sausages for the three decades or more. The owner had been to Germany to learn how to make sausages. The sausages were very fantastic and terribly delicious. I miss it.

The cold Chinese noodle of the Sanban, a Chinese restaurant, is very good.
I have a dish of cold Chinese noodle with cabbage firstly in my life.

This is the escaping point of workers from trains. But they call a train defense barricade. The rust have been breaking its wire net. I don't want to use this barricade.

Early in the morning a cicada molted and dried wings and flew away. The discarded skin on the end of the zipper closing gives me a few minutes fun.
