ず～～～っと昔、某メジャーテーマパークでダンサーをしていたことがある。
同期で入ったダンサーのうち、最後まで残って踊り続けていたKがついに退園したと聞いた。
２０年間！！
すごい！
毎日、同じ笑顔で同じ踊りを続けることに飽きて、１年半で私は辞めた。
楽しい日々ではあったけど。
保証のないダンサーの仕事とはいえ、20年もいればそれなりに安定し、守られた場所になる。
その囲いの中から出て行くのは勇気がいっただろうなあ。
たぶんまだ独身の、アラフォーの彼女。
これからどうするんだ？？
っていうのが、同じく同期のダンサー仲間との話題となった。

I worked in a well-known theme park as a dancer long time ago.
I just heard K, who entered that company same year as me and performed in the park for all these years, finally quit working there.
For 20 years!!
LONG TIME!
Dancers there have to put the same smile on their face for every performance.
I got tired of doing that soon and l quit working after one and half years.
It was fun in a way, though.
Even though, being a dancer isn't a stable life, working for such a big, famous amusement park for 20 years might have made K feel secure and comfortable.
So, I think leaving that safe place must have been hard decision for her to make.
What is she going to do?
She is around 40.
Single.
