この春小３になった長男。
泣きべそをかきながら登校していた、２年前の春が懐かしい。
今年度から教科書が大きくなって内容も多くなって、授業時間数も増えた。
うちのムスコ、ついていけるかな？？
勉強となると、アタマのネジがゆるんでぼうっとなる彼。
２年生の終わり頃、復習漢字100問テストで、28点をとって来た。
先生の熱心な指導のおかげで、その後70点まで上がったテスト用紙を、得意そうに見せてくれた。
算数も時々あやしいが、根気よく説明するとちゃんと理解する。
じっくり時間をかければわかるし、本人も嬉しい。
授業内容も時間も多くなったら、そういうふうに丁寧に指導していってもらえるだろうか。
どうしてそんなに、急いでいっぱい勉強しなくちゃいけないのかなあ。
それが私にはわからない。
人生は長いのに。
知らないことを知る喜びや、新しいことを学ぶ楽しさを、子供たちが失うことがないようにと、願うばかり。
My oldest son moved up to the 3rd grade this spring.
He was whining abut going to school just 2 years ago.
Their curriculum is getting harder.
The text books are bigger, they have more classes.
Will my son be able to deal with that??
He looks dazed when it comes to studying.
They had a-100-KANJI question test in the end of last semester.
My son got just 28.
But after some make up exams it became 70 and he showed me that paper proudly.
It was his teacher spending time and teaching them patiently after class that helped them.
His teacher was very zealous.
My son needs lots of time to understand math, too
But it's just the way it is.
He looks happy when he finds the answers.
Are teachers going to have enough time to take care of slow kids like my son when they have a lot of stuff to teach??
I don't know why the children here have to study so hard?
Life is long.
I hope they won't lose interest or joy in learning new things.
