松元ヒロさんのライブショーを友人と観に行った。
社会問題や政治時事をネタにする。
総理大臣のモノマネは十八番で、会場中が大爆笑。
私はヒロさんの大ファンで何度も観に行っているのだけれど、夫を誘って行けないことがとても残念。
どれだけ面白かったかを、英語ではなかなか伝えられなくてもどかしい。
夫の日本語力は、コメディを理解するところからは、はるか～～にほど遠い位置にあり、私の英語力も、アメリカの早口スタンダップコメディにリアルタイムでゲラゲラ笑えるところまでは、、、
お互いの母国語を完全に理解できたとしても、文化的背景などが違ったら何が面白いのかわからないこともあるはずだ。
日本人として日本で生まれ育ったからこそ笑えることだったり、アメリカ人にしか伝わらない笑いもある。
私と夫は、そういう意味では、どこまでいっても共有できない部分が残るのかなあ
。
ま、日本人同士だって、深く理解し合っている夫婦ばかりじゃないと思うけど。
せめて、言いたいことは100％伝えられるようになりたい。
もっともっと夫とわかちあえる世界を広げたい。
で、毎日３０分の英語の勉強を続けているノダ
I just went to see a comedy show by Hiro Matsumoto with my friend.
He mainly talks about social problems, politics, current topics, etc...
He is very good at doing impressions of Japanese prime ministers.
It's so funny that you can't stop laughing.
I've been to his talk show many times 'cause I'm a big fan of his.
I wish I could take my husband.
My English skills are not good enough to tell him how funny Hiro's jokes are.
My husband's Japanese is far from comprehending a Japanese comedy show, while I have a hard time keeping up with American stand up comedy.
Even if we understand each other's mother tongue well, it's hard to get the point of comedy.
Because we have different cultural backgrounds.
Maybe only Japanese people who are born and bred in Japan can have same sense of humor and vice versa.
I feel little sad that me & my husband have something which we'll never be able to share.
Well, there must be many Japanese couples who don't understand each other.
At least I want to tell him everything that I think.
I want to share a lot more things with my husband.
So that's the reason I've been studying English 30 minutes a day
