僕が未だ30代の頃、古着のリバースウィーブが飛ぶ様に売れた時代がありまして、
その当時、LAではリバースウィーブが渇水状態で値段も高騰しており中々気の利いたのが入手困難になり
バイヤー泣かせが続いておりました。
其の当時僕もLAにはボストンからの帰りに立ち寄っておりましたが、お目当はVANSの直営店を周って倉庫に
入れてもらいデッドストックのVANSを集めておりました。
リバースウィーブは、其の頃はボストンには大量にありまして、ピック仕放題！
日本人の古着のバイヤーが少なかったのと学生の街でもあってエエ雰囲気のリバースウィーブをピック出来ておりました
毎月、ボストンに1週間は必ずピックに出向いており、LLBeanのダッフルバッグ（一番でかい奴です）に
たらふく詰め込みまして、6個くらいは担いでハンドキャリーしておりました。
帰る度に肩に其のバッグで出来たアザが出来ておりましたね。
しかし、お店に戻ると、待ってましたと顧客様が来店してくれましてハンドキャリーのリバースウィーブは
あれよあれよと飛ぶ様に消えて行きました。
そして1週間後くらいにボストンから送った荷物が届きまして、再度、店頭にしかしそれも同じ様に消えて行きましたので
又、渡米って日が続いておりましたね。
いや本当に懐かしい昔話です。
其の当時でも、色物のリバースウィーブでエエ雰囲気のは足が早かったですね。
僕は赤が好きで自分自身でも赤のリバースウィーブはジーパンやかつらぎ素材518などにコーディネィトして
楽しんでおりました。
