素材自身は、其の当時ではかなり画期的な高密度で織り上げましたコットンポプリンを使用しまして、
フロントには、4ポケット！
（今回のヘミングウェイジャケットは、生地とパターンを米国から日本に送りまして縫製は日本で行います。
その結果お値段も何と税込99000円で提供できることになりました。今の米国の状況や為替などですと、米国で
縫製致しますと、20万オーバーになるそうです。）
This is the Hemingway jacket that will be available in stores next spring.
It is a safari jacket that Ernest Hemingway had Willis & Geiger make for him when he went on an expedition to Africa.
The material itself is cotton poplin woven at a high density, which was quite revolutionary at the time,
and there are four pockets on the front!
(The fabric and pattern for this Hemingway jacket will be sent from the US to Japan, and the sewing will be done in Japan.
As a result, we are able to offer it for just 99,000 yen including tax. With the current situation in the US and exchange rates, it would cost over 200,000 yen to sew it in the US.)
それも腰ポケットは丁寧な仕立てのマチ付きでかなり大容量なポケットになります。
これ一枚でバッグ要らずでマチの散策から旅行先などでも手ぶらでお楽しみ頂ける一枚となります。
The waist pocket has a carefully crafted gusset and is quite a large capacity pocket.
You don't need a bag with this one piece, you can enjoy walking around the gusset or traveling empty-handed.
サファリジャケットになりますので、胸には弾倉入れなどもございます。
ボタンは、当時と同じ水牛ボタンを採用しております。
As it is a safari jacket, it also has a magazine holder on the chest.
The buttons are made of buffalo horn, just like the original.

其の当時はサファリジャケットと云えばウエストにベルトが装備されておりましたが、面倒くさがりのヘミングウェイは
ベルトを無くして欲しい！との事でウエスト部分にシャーリングを取り入れたそうです。
At the time, safari jackets were equipped with a belt around the waist, but Hemingway, who didn't like to bother, wanted to get rid of the belt! So he incorporated shirring into the waist area.
ですからウエスト部分に多少のフィット感はございますね。
So there is a slight fit around the waist.
