風の並木 voie de ginkgo

There is a park near the Ogikubo station. The Ootaguro park was a mansion of a famous composer in 1950's. The comoposer, Ootaguro was famous but is known by few now. But there is a good pond , good big trees and a tea-ceremony room.
I love this stones way between gikgo trees where I could listen the sound of wind in every seasons. In the begining of the spring, the sound of wind reminds me a fiction, Boy of Wind (by Kenji Miyazawa, 宮沢賢治「風の又三郎」).

At the end of the stones way, there is the second gate to the garden.
Behind the gate, there is a baby carriage park.

ムクの実 une fruit verte

There is two Muku trees(ムクノキ) behind the batteries of ginkgo trees.
This day gardeners cut the branches of the one of them.
I find a few fruits among the twiggies on the ground.
A kind of bird love this fruit so much that people give them the name, "bird of Muku (椋鳥)"．　In Autumn this dry fruit turns black and the taste is so sweet, they say.
I can't explain why I can get the green fruit in this early spring.

There is a small but excellent chinese bread shop at the east end of Koenji.
They can serve a cup of Vietnamese coffee.

まんとうサンド le sandwich chinoise

Once you have the chinese bread sandwitch, you would never want to buy any chinese bread at conveniece stores. The price is not higher than those of convienience stores, but the taste is far greater than the latters. I can say this is the best food at Koenji. Cheep and delicious!

In Takahara park, kids and young cochers are playing balls together.
Young mothers watch them and lots of bicycles are wating for the mothers and childrens. Only one father watches his daughter and son alone.
