Kamata railroad yard is now only for the trains of Keihintohoku line(京浜東北線).
Before the dividing of the National railroad company, Tokaido line trains could be parked here.
They keep calling the train shop as Sea-1(海1). "Sea" comes from the usage of the railroad workers and means the down train side. So the Sea-1 shop means the shop stands at the down train side, at the left side of the yard.
