Today( 1st November) I got a bloody doubt that the pictures I had believed as spawning of mullet on October 25 might not be spawning.
These jets are observed when fish swim up from the bottom of the canal and disappear during they are swimming under the surface. I can't watch it when they swim around near the surface of the water. It's always only after they have been at the canal bed.
You can see this jet beginning around the gills. This cloud like thing might be a dust of the mud of the canal.
The water of the canal is so bad that one of these mullets have many white spots, parasites. Somebody wrote at a blog:
In the water mullets have parasites no other fish couldn't survive.
If his saying is true, my watching no other fish but mullet in this canal is very natural.
