First Sunday. Yuya was taking a walk in the city.

初めての日曜日。裕也は街を散歩していた。
古びたアパートの間を抜け、少し大きな通りに出る。
曲がり角に教会ある。
「俺は、なんでこんなアパートに住んでんのかなぁ。
日本に居た時の名残か。

裕也は、日本いるとき、高校を卒業すると一人暮らしをした。
その部屋はぼろい小さな古びたアパートでした。
お金がないわけではないが、当時はそんなアパートが日本には多かった。
「真菜美が居ないのは寂しいが、
教会が有れば、いいや。
組織に入るのは、いやだが、
アメリカじゃ 勧誘されないだろ」
裕也は独り言を「ぶつぶつ」言いながら教会の扉を開ける。
「こんにちは 入ります」裕也は小さな声で言った。
神父が語りかけていた。
「天に居ります神は、我々に大地をお与えになりました。
我々は、神に、この大地を治められるように命じられました。
主は使いを送りなさいました。

「本場だ。 主は、正しい」裕也は感激した。
（でも、俺は闇の女神の血を惹く真菜美と血の縁結んだんだよな）
（裕也。私のこと考えたでしょ）真菜美の声が聞こえた。
血の縁を結ぶとその人の心の声が聞こえるのである。
（いけない。ばればれ。元気だよ。じゃぁね）裕也は真奈美の心に話しかけた。
（元気でよかった。じゃあね）真菜美の心の声。
（こころが動くと、いろんな人の声が聞こえる。いかん。いかん。）

神父「今日は、これまでにしましょう」
そして裕也を見て
「おぉ 礼拝ですか？」
横にいる少女は、嬉しそうに微笑んでる。
「お名前は？」神父は裕也に尋ねた。
「裕也です。」
「私は、アドウェです。」
「私メンディア」少女も答えた。
「はじめまして。日本から来ました。宜しくお願いします」
裕也は自然と立って、お辞儀をしていた。
