　　言葉も必要ない

　　音も必要ない

　　アートも素敵な景色も必要ない

　　素敵な人も必要ない

　　瞑想も必要ない

　　宗教も必要ない

　　イデオロギーも必要ない

　　自分自身も必要ない

　　全てが邪魔



　　心のもやもや・汚れを全てぶちまけてさらけ出してからっぽになりたい・・・



　　ただただからっぽな時間帯が欲しい・・・

　　無条件・無目的・からっぽになりたい・・・

　　ただひたすらボケッとして過ごしたい・・・

　　そんな瞬間も長い人生には時としてある






　　 　――――　　　腐っていく意識　　　――――　

　　
　　どんどん意識が濁って腐っていく

　　若い頃の清冽な意識の高揚はドブ河のヘドロ・産廃処理場のようにドロドロ・グチャグチャになっていく

　　若い頃の理想主義と博愛精神は現実という壁を目の前に粉々に打ち砕かれる

　　でも今更若い頃に戻りたくもない

　　だって今までしてきた苦しみをもう一度味わうなんて地獄だろ？！

　仕事をしているとどんどん考え方が現実的になっていく

　失敗をするとどんどん心が虚無的になっていく

　現世で苦しい思いをしても

　死んだ後には天国にいける

　それまで功徳を積んでから死んでも遅くはない

　たとえ罪悪があったとしても

　功徳を積んで罪を相殺すればよい







　　 　――――　　　カオサンのカレー屋　　　――――　


　９０年代前半にタイのカオサン・ロードにあったインド・カレー屋

　インド往復の際にタイに寄ると必ずそこでベジタブル・カレーを食べていた

　とても繊細な味わいがした

　ある時期にワット・チャナ・ソンクラ－ンの脇に移動した

　そしてある頃から無くなってしまった

　わては残念な思いをした

　そのカレー屋に寄るのもカオサンの楽しみの一つだったのに・・・









　　 　――――　　　プノンペン・ボーンコック湖畔のインディアン・レストラン　　　――――　


　プノンペンのボーンコック湖があった頃、畔にとてもおいしいインド料理店があった

　壁には外国人のお客が書いた賛辞が貼ってあった

　「　最早インドに行く必要はない　」「　東南アジア全体で一番おいしい　」・・・


　わてもそこが今まで食べたインド料理で一番おいしいと感じた

　高価な高級カレーでもない


　家庭的なレストランで安くて大衆的でマンゴラッシーもセットだった

　
　どんなスパイス・調味料を使っているのか不思議に思って厨房を覗いて見た

　だが、どこにでも売っている他と同じものだった

　マスターの作ったカレーは絶妙に美味いが、従業員ではその味わいは出せなかった

　秘密はマスターの作り方・味覚にあったようだ

　人生で最も素晴らしい事の一つはたはむれる事である

　女性とたはむれる　　　　子供とたはむれる　　　　　猫とたはむれる

　それなのに現実社会はたはむれる事を許さない

　何でも利権と効率で処理されてしまう・・・







　　 　――――　　　人生とは壊滅へと向かう螺旋階段を登っていくようなもの　　　――――　

 

　人生とは壊滅というゴールに向かってダラダラ螺旋階段を登り続ける登山のようなもの

　心身共にどんどん分裂していくだけの苦しい過程・道程

　若い頃色々信じられた事物もドンドン信じられなくなってくる

　若い頃の理想も意義もドンドン失われていく

　他に歩くべき道もないまま

　ダラダラと壊滅というゴールに向かって登っていくだけ・・・

　大正時代の名残の人生裏街道

　決して陽のあたる事のないドブ河沿いの細い路地を

　居酒屋で熱燗をチビリチビリ飲みながら

　表街道の抜け道をひとりテクテク歩いてきました



　おふくろだけが田舎の故郷から見守っていてくれました

　猫と子供たちだけがおともだちでした

　浮世と人の心の表も裏も見てきました

　世間と人の心の冷たさよ・・・



　荒川の波止場にギターを持って行って

　誰も聴いていないのに下手な歌を口ずさむ

　手探りの稚拙なコード進行にのせて

　あてのない求愛と生きる虚しさを歌ってきました





　　 　――――　　　城下町小路　　　――――　

　
　この城下町は室町後期に上杉氏が古河公方に対抗する為に武州にいくつもつくった拠点の一つでした

　元々ここは古くから街道と元荒川が交差する土地で平安の頃には既に街並みが形成されていたと推定されています

　城は太田道灌によって築城されました

　全国から武将達が集まって暮らしていました


　
　武将達が暮らしていた道は小路と呼ばれています

　時間を町中に知らせる時の鐘がありました

　武将達が子弟を育てる為の藩校もありました

　江戸時代には徳川幕府ゆかりの地でした　






　　 　――――　　　何もかも馬鹿らしくなる時　　　――――　


　人生には特に若い頃には何もかも馬鹿らしくなって投げ出したくなってくる時がある

　学校の勉強も自分の今までの人生もこれからの未来も

　音楽も映画も本などの娯楽も・・・

　そういった時にはしばらくじっくり休養していればいい

　そうすれば再び歩き始める気力が湧いてくるから

　　 　――――　　　人生迷路　　　――――　

 

 

　人生とはまるで迷路みたいなもの

　目的地に向かって努力して歩いていく

　だがその目的地にたどり着いたらそこは行き止まり

　そして新たな目的地を描いて歩いていく

　でもそこにたどり着いたら又してもそこはドンツキの行き詰まり

 

　散々歩いて行ったと思ったら以前に来た事のある地点に戻ってくる事もある

　

　結局散々歩いて行った最終的な出口は死

　現代文明社会・文明生活に疑問を感じオルタナティブな価値観・生活様式を二人で探し求めていたが、現実は残酷に二人の仲を引き裂いていった・・・

　途中の屋台でもち団子、チョコバナナ、抹茶アイス、クレープなどを食べる

 

　アッ！　山車でひょっとこ踊りをしているよ

　狐もいる！　おかめもいる！

　懐かしいね

　

　呑龍上人のお寺でおばけやしきをしているよ

　縁結びの神様　川越氷川神社でふたりの未来を祈ろう

　ねぎの串焼きも食べよう

　
　夕暮れ以降になると江戸時代の街並みが映える

　明かりに照らされて昼間より風情があるよ

　格子窓に明かりがともる

 

　商店の屋号も和風の建築も映える

　まるでふたりは江戸時代に戻ったみたい

　ああ面白かった！　又来年も散歩しようね

 

 

　 　――――　　埼玉の市立高校の不良カップル　　――――　

 

　わてときみは埼玉の市立高校の同じクラスの学生

　きみは模範の優等生

　わてはサボってばかりの不良学生

　ある日の午後、歴史の授業の時

　わてはきみに授業をさぼって秋ヶ瀬公園に行こうと誘う

　きみは同意する

　ふたりはわての自転車に乗り、授業をサボって荒川へと向かう

　きみはわての背中に抱きつく

　自転車で荒川の土手へと向かう

　羽根倉橋に着く

　土手下の橋の下

　わてはきみに「　過去の歴史なんていつまでもウダウダ勉強したってしょうがないじゃん。　大事なのはきみとわての今現在と未来だよ。　」とそそのかす。

　きみとわては音楽をかけてお互いに愛の告白を延々と続ける

　夕暮れ深くなっていくまで・・・

　休日にきみと下町を散策したいな

　江戸時代の庶民文芸をたどる

　江戸っ子達が暮らしていた生活空間を

　昔のまんまの和風家屋を背景にしながら

　
　場末の商店街の街角にある

　中華そば屋に入ってさ

　一緒に醤油ラーメンをすすろうよ

　トッピングにメンマを加えてさ

 

　 　――――　　笑い上戸のキミ　　――――　

 

　笑い上戸のきみは

　わてがたまにつぶやく映画のセリフみたいな言葉をいつも喜んできいていた

　わての仕草や表情の微妙な変化をも見逃さなかった

　きみは過度な位に敏感にわての言動に反応して

　
　いつも過度な位にハシャイでいた

　「　だれがそんな事を教えたの？　」
　
　「　どうやってそんな事を思いついたの？　」

　いつもわてにそんな事を尋ねていた

　わてのまえでは

　きみはけしょうなんてしないほうがいい

　ふくそうなんてどうだってかまわないよ

　ここはアジアのとある宿場街

Here is a certain post town in the one of Asian district .

　放浪の悦楽は素敵な街並みに巡り合える事

　The rejoice of wandering abroad is to come across wonderful row of houses along a street .

この小さな街にはこれといって見るべき場所はない

　There is no special place for sight seeing .

　これといって特別な娯楽もない

　There is no entertainment for especially reffer to.

だが、市場でものを売り買いする人々と、小さくてもつつましい家庭の幸福がある。

　However there are people who are selling and buying daily necessities in the market . And there are modest happiness in small houses .

それこそ最も得がたい幸せなのに、殆どの人々はその事に気がつかない

　Such a happiness is the precious happiness which can not be easily obtained . But most people do not notice this fact .

　流浪の果てに見つけた理想的な安住の地

　The ideal place for living in peace where I found at the end of wandering .

市場には川で取れたての、淡水系の魚介類が豊富に並び

A lot of fishery products are arranged in the market, which are just captured in the river near here .

　しかも、自然の生態系を全く壊さない

　Moreover , it does not disturb natural ecosystem at all.

　太古から続いてきた生活方法

　The way of living which have been continued from the ancient times .

　

　夕暮れ時に、街角の商店を覗いて見ると、支那の道教系の神様が奥に祭られ、オレンジ色のランプに照らされている

　In the dusk I happened to see the God who is something like one of the Taoistic god of China is worshiped by the depths when I tried to look into a store of a street corner, and it is lighted up by an orange lamp .

街並みが映える

　Row of houses along a city street are starting to shine .

　爆発したような夕暮れ

The dusk which is something like about to explode .

　例えは悪いが、まるで江戸の大火や東京大空襲みたいに

　　Such an example is bad, but it seems to be big fire of Edo or an air raid in Tokyo .

　夕暮れ時に、空が白ずんでくる。

　In dusk, color of the sky is becoming white.

　今にも雨が降りそうな気配

　The mood like just before start to rain.

　スコールが降る直前の匂いがする

　It smells like squall will begin soon.

　ホテルのボーイが「ฝนจะตก (fon ca tok)　／　雨が降るよ！」と声をかける

　A boy of a hotel told me "It seems to start raining!"

　森林のみずみずしい、すがすがしい香り

　The refreshing fragrance of the forest is smelling.

　空が黄色からオレンジへと変わっていく

　Color of the sky is turning from yellow into an orange.

　東南アジアでのそんな瞬間そんな光景が私はたまらなく好きだ

　Such a moment and scene is the highlight of my wandering around Southeast Asia.

　青春時代を無目的に空費してしまった後悔など忘れてしまう

　I can forget regrets of had wasted the youth without purpose.

　自分なりに何かを表現するよりこんな幸福な時間をじっくり味わって居たかった

　I wished to taste such precious moments slowly and carefully than to express badly and intentionally in younger days.

　雷の音がゴロゴロ鳴り始める

　A sound of thunder begin to sound around.

　隣のお寺からはお経が聞こえてくる

　I hear a voice of sutra which is chanted by monks from a neighboring temple.

　いつか自分自身のお経を綴ってみたい

　I am dreaming to try to spell my own sutra someday.

　国破れて山河あり、夢破れて身体あり
　　
　　　When country was torn but mountains and rivers still remain.

　　　When dream is broken, but body still remains.

大自然の中のぽっかりと空いた空き地にログハウスのような家を建て

They built a guest house such as a log house in the vacant land in Nature


　河に近い街外れ

The town outskirts where is near to a river


　客は俺一人

Guest is only myself


　アコギ一本と経典一冊と南方の熱帯植物のある小さな庭と猫の家族があれば

If there are one accoustic guitar and one sacred book and a small garden with a southern tropical plant and a family of a cat


　もう何も要らない

Nothing is necessary anymore


　他に何が要る？

What else is necessary?


　余計な物を持つと管理をするのが面倒になる

It becomes troublesome to manage when I have too many things



　経典の中を開くと呪文のようなものが沢山つづってある

When I open the scripture, there are witten many incantations.


　俺にとって文芸というシロモノは独自の世界・哲学・思想・感性を表明し、それを他人と共有する以外のなにものでもない

For me,the artifical creation means nothing but to express original world, philosophy , thought and feelings , and share them with others.


　利益至上主義や視聴率至上主義や多数派迎合などの業界の論理に振り回されるようになったらもう御仕舞

It would be already an end if it comes to be swung around by the logic of the industries such as the principle of profit supremacy and the principle of audience rating supremacy or majority flattery .


　そもそも俺の創作の原動力は「俺はオリジナルなんだ。あんな奴等とは違うんだ！」という意識

In the first place a driving force of my creation is the consciousness that"I am the originator. I am different from such a fellows".


　日本社会からは離れ、最早距離も測れない

I am already apart from Japanese society,and I cannot measure a distance from it .


　ドアーズのジム・モリソンは「今度生まれるとしたら、自分の家の庭を行ったり来たりするだけの芸術家になりたい。」と言っていたそうな

Jim Morrison of the Doors said "In the next birth I would like to be the artist who always walk to and fro at a garden of own house".


名門大学の大学院まで行った

He went to a graduate school of Oxbridge .


　俺は彼の遺志のような生活を始めよう

I will begin life such as his will of the deceased .


リフの構成を考案し、模索

I devise constitution of a refrain and grope for it .


　レパートリーは何十曲

Dozens of repertories .


　しかも捨て曲なし

Besides, there is no abandoned song .


　経典もつづる

Also spell scripture .


Johnny guest houseには猫の家族が住み着いている

A family of a cat settles down in Johnny guest house .


　両親は仲が悪く、引っかき合いをして顔は傷だらけ

Parents do not get along with each other, and they are scratching each other,and their faces are badly-bruised .


　娘猫はとても愛くるしく、よくなつくので俺にとっては好都合

A daughter cat is very lovely and is convenient for me because her take to me well.


　まだ若いのに、妊娠している

Though she is still young, she become pregnant .


　ある時は２～３日、姿を見せなった

Someday she did not appeared for two or three days .


　どうしたのかなと思っていたら、ある日暗闇に二つの目が光っていた

One night, two eyes shined in darkness when I wondered what about daughter cat?


　娘猫だ

It's she!


　お腹が出ていない

She is not become potbellied .


　赤ちゃんを産んだらしいぞ！

She seems have born babies !


　丁度同じ頃、３匹のメス猫が赤ちゃんを産み、何と１０匹の赤ちゃん猫がいる

At the same time,three female cats born babies and there are 10 baby cats at the Johnny guest house altoghether!

 

――　　　 Anarchy days　in Dalian　　　――

 

　金州・普蘭店　の中国カラオケに毎週のように通っていた頃がある
　There were the times when I went to Chinese karaoke of Jin Zhou, Pulan Dian almost every week end .

　金州の公園では老人達が民樂を演奏している事もある
　Sometimes old men were playing traditional folk music in the park of Jin Zhou .

　小姐と中国の歌を歌う
　I sang Chinese songs with Karaoke girl .

　「　あなたこの歌も歌えるの？　」
　Can you sing even this song ?

　バスの途中の千山路には大きなダンス・ホールがあり
　There was a big dancing hall in the Qian Shan road on the way of the bus .

　人々が社交ダンスを踊っていた
　People were dancing social dance .

　千山路をテクテク散歩して
　I strolled on the Qian Shan road and ,

　丁字路口にある庶民的な麺屋で二元ラーメンを食べる
　I ate 2 yuan noodle in popular noodles shop at the T-shaped road mouth

　帰り道の途中に中華街があって
　There was a Chinatown in the middle of a way back and

　途中でバスを降りて中華街を歩いて帰った事もある
　I got off a bus on the way and have come back through the Chinatown on foot .

　ロシア風情が残る町並みを
　The row of houses along a city street where Russian taste was left .

　自分がどこに向かっているのかも知らず
　I did not know even where I was going to .

　中国美人が居れば映画一本でも撮れそうだ
　If there was a Chinese beautiful woman, even one movie was able to make .

　出発は１時半　　　帰りは９時近く
　The departure time was 13:30 and returned at 21:00 .

　こんな馬鹿な生活を繰り返してた
　I repeated such a stupid lives .

　大連に戻る
　I came back to Dalian .

　バス停を降りてレストランで麺を食べた
　I went down at the bus stop and ate noodles at a restaurant .

　ボロ小屋の二階の狭い間
Small room at the second floor of the rag hut restaurant .

　関羽像が祭ってあった
　 The image of general Guan Yu was enshrined .

　そこから街を見渡せた
　I was able to look around the town from there .

　太原街近くの喫茶店でコーヒーをすすりながら
　While sipping coffee in a coffee shop close to Taiyuan street .

　哲学書を読んでいた時もある
　There were days when I read a philosophy book .

　街中の粗末な飯屋で
　In a poor cheap restaurant of the downtown .

　麺を食べた時もある
　There were times when I ate noodles .

　山西の刀削面もあった店もある
　There was restaurant where the sword cut noodle of Shanxi was sold .

　油っこいのでできるだけ油を避けながら
　Because it was too oily, avoiding oil as much as possible .

　薬局で胎児の胎盤が入った薬を見かけた事もある
I have seen the medicine which the placenta of the fetus was in at a drugstore .

　そんな馬鹿げた日々を
　Such a ridiculous days

　今はカケガイノ無いほど素敵な日々だったと懐かしく思い出す
　Now I remember those days as wonderful precious days .

　　The moon which is reflected on the lake ――
　　

　南方を短く巡って北京へと飛ぶ
　I travelled round the south of China briefly and fly to Beijing .

　北京では歓楽街を遊びまわる
　I played around at an entertainment district in Beijing .

　随分騙されたりしてすったものだ
　I was deceived many times and wasted money .

　高速夜行バスで大連へと向かっていた
　I went to Dalian by high-speed night coach .

　夜中にふと窓の外を見てみると
　When I look at the outside of the window incidentally at midnight .

　小さな湖の向こうに街並みが見える
　Row of houses along a city streets was seen in the other side of the small lake .

　アパートや商店街が並んでいて
　Apartments and shopping districts formed a line and

　湖には月が映っていた
　The moon was reflected on the lake

　あれはロマンティックな光景だった
　That was a romantic scene .

　この中で無数のドラマが展開されていると思うと・・・
　When I imagined that innumerable dramas are developed in there ...

 

 

 ―― YAOWARAT ― China Town in BKK　　―　
　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　曼谷唐人街 　――

こんなに付き合いが長くなるとは、夢にも思っていなかった。
　I had never dreamed that acquaintance with this area get longer so much .

　
　ヤワラーの一角からインド人街一帯は、街中が美術館，美術の宝庫のようだ。
The whole downtown from the corner of Yaowarat to the Indian street seems to be an art museum or treasure house of art .

　２０の頃から行ったり来たりしているけれど
Though I have been coming this area from 20 years old .

歩けば歩く程、味がある。
　As I walk more,it tastes better .

漢字みたいに角ばったタイ文字
　The Thai letters which was square-built like a Chinese character .

　民芸品、工芸品を並べた店が連なるストリート
　Many shops where displayed a folkcraft, industrial art objects continue on the street .

観音菩薩や布袋様(笑佛)の人形やら、唐子の描かれた陶磁器をウィンドウ・ショッピング
　I do window shopping at the Goddess of Mercy and a doll of the Laughing Buddha or the ceramics which were drawn the boy clad in old Chinese garments .

　三国志の関羽将軍を祭る関帝古廟の近くでは、チキンの照り焼きや麺や白粥などが売られている
　　In the neighborhood of Guan Di old shrine inwhere the General Guan Yu of History of three kingdom is worshipped , teriyaki of chicken,noodles and rice gruel are sold

潮州華僑の海の守り神であり続けている妈祖天后宮の廟があちこちに祭られている。
　Mazu Tianhou Gong who have been guardian angel of the sea of Chaozhou overseas Chinese are worshipped at many places.

いにしえの職人達が丹精込めて彫った像は、細かい所まで職人魂が感じられる。
　As for the images which craftsmen of yore put great deal of effort and carved,craftsman spirit is felt at detail .

　師匠から弟子へと受け継がれてきた職人技。
　The arts of craft which has been inherited from a teacher to a pupil .
　

　商業主義とは無縁に、沢山の人々の心を照らし、長い間愛惜されてきて、これからも愛され続けていくだろう像を形作った職人達が羨ましい。

　　I envy craftsmen who formed the images which were free from commercialism and illuminate people's mind and loved by many people for a long time and from now on.

 

――　　　　金辺華人一条街　　　　――

　ニューバザールに通じるストリート

　そこは華人達のパラダイス

　世界中を旅する華人達の憩いの場

　レストランの看板には

　北京・重慶・湘(湖南)・四川・広東などの地名が好き勝手に使われ

　道ではゲームをしていたり、餃子を仕込んでいたりする

商店には、王老吉(漢方薬みたいなジュース)や二鍋頭(透明なアルコール)や中国語の小説などが売られている

　華僑のパワーの源はこういった所にある

　世界中どこへ行っても故郷を見出せる

　マーボー豆腐や麺を食べれば、故郷を想い出し疲れも吹き飛ぶ

　日本人の私もホッとするものを感じる

全ての都市は矛盾の中を生きている

　手探りで未来を探っている

　もう少しこのストリートに甘えていよう

I'd often saw  in the Showa era but haven't seen recently.
