服装の豪華さからフィレンツェの高貴な若い女性の横顔。
Fra Filippo Lippi(c.1406-69), The Adoration in the forest, c.1459, 森の神秘的な濃い緑に精霊から射す金色の光。イエス誕生の瞬間。可憐な顔立ちをしたペールブルーのマリアの衣装。昨年から画集などで何度となく眺めていた作品。グラビア印刷では再現できない神々しい色使いと美しさに圧倒され、鳥肌が立ちます。傑作です。

Giovanni Belliniジョヴァンニ・ベリーニ(1430/1-1516), The resurrection of Christ, 1479, フリック・コレクションの《砂漠の聖フランチェスコ》St. Francis in the Desert, c.1480と同時期の作品です。空中で手を広げているイエスが印象的です。あと2点ほど、小品が展示されていました。
Titan, Venus with an Organist, c.1550-2, プラド美術館のVenus with an Organistを鑑賞する前にたまたまこの作品を鑑賞してしまいました。明らかに背景が異なります。

何か違うと感じたのですが、レオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチLeonardo da Vinciとともに旅をしたそうです。たとえば、背景の描き方などにあきらかな影響が見られますし、女性はモナリザに似た描き方をしています。
