何故か？と申しますと、40年前のウエストポイントの生地を使用しているのです。
ウエストポイントは、米軍士官のみ着用を許されましたチノ素材なんです。
今回のウエストポイントは、ミルスペックと同様に縦糸36双糸緯糸24双糸で打込み本数までも
ミルスペックと同様なんです。
肉厚ですが、滑り感や上品な光沢を纏いましたチノクロスになります。
The best feature!

Why? I'm using the waist point fabric from 40 years ago.
The waist point is a Chino material that only US military officers are allowed to wear.
The waist point this time is the same as the mil-spec, with 36 warp threads and 24 weft threads.
It's the same as mil-spec.
Although it is thick, it is a Chino cloth with a slippery feel and an elegant luster.

僕的にも漆紺がベストだと思いました。
着込めば着込むほどに肌に馴染んでくる素材だと思いますし、お洗濯される度に赤みが出るネイビーじゃなくて
白ちゃけてくるネイビー生地です。
実は、このネイビーを染めるのも本当に難しい作業なんです。
今回、偶然にも40反見つかりましたが、二度と作るのは難しい生地です。
ジーパン同様に経年変化を楽しみたい方には、是非着用して頂きたい逸品ですね。

僕で44サイズなので、かなり大きめですが、金ボタンも映える大人のブレザーに仕上がっていたと思います。

マドラスチェックってインポート生地でもアイビーっぽいのが少なくて国産生地じゃありきたりなので、
中々、こんな雰囲気のエエ感じのマドラスチェックってないんですよね。
アメリカ物でもなくてヨーロッパな香りも漂うマドラスチェックだと思います。
