スノーシュー・トレッキング in 栂池自然園 (Snow shoe trekking in Tsugaike, Hakuba.)

わざわざ白馬まで行った甲斐がありました。^^

初めてのスノーシュー、ガイド付きツアーに参加しましたが、
参加者は僕ら２名のみの貸切状態～♪で、大満足でした。

白馬は朝から雪で、起きたらびっくりの15cmくらい積もってたんですが、
栂池のロープウェーから上（標高2,000mくらい）は快晴！
誰も歩いていないパウダースノーの上を、縦横無尽に走破！走破！
スノーシュー、とってもお勧めのアクティビティです！

詳細は、いずれ燕山荘のＨＰにアップされそうですが、
ちょっとだけお見せします。(^^)

Have had a wonderful trekking I've ever had!
Today, experienced "snow shoe trekking,"
participating in guided tour in Hakuba area.
It was just two of us! and we really enjoyed it!!

Though it was snowing ski resort in Tsugaike area,
but above 2,000m, we see another sky!
Was really clear and beautiful blue sky,
and we could trek on powder snow which no one ever walked.

It was great moment and memorable...
Will be back near future, I guess.

旅先レター from 白馬～♪ （Letter from Hakuba area）

久しぶりの白馬コルチナ国際スキー場～♪
大阪から6-7時間の行程を経て、ようやくたどり着けるこの場所。
今シーズン初！の本格スキーを満喫しました～！
（相変わらず腕前は上達せず、ですが・・・）

今回の白馬訪問は実は２本立て！
今日は久しぶりのお泊りで、明日はスノーシュートレッキングの予定！
今回初めて泊まるペンションですが、実にいい感じ。
夕食はご馳走になり（下記）、


２次会を近くの居酒屋「稗」というコースでした♪


スキー/スノボは苦手でも、スノーシューなら！という人もいるはず。
今回の経験を皮切りに、仲間を増やしたいと思う今日この頃です。^^

Forgot when i have visited there, Hakuba Cortina International Ski Resort;
this is one of the great ski resorts in Hakuba area with tons of snow.
Though it takes at least 6-7 hours by car to get there,
it worths visiting, especially to ski/snowboard and trek.
This time, i enjoyed skiing enough!!! (not improved my skils...)

Plus, i planned to trek Hakuba area with snowshoes this time!
So, i enjoyed "Hakuba Night" with great dinner at Pension "Arles"
and following drinking at "Hie" (Japanese "Izakaya").

Some of you guys might not be interested in skiing/snowboading,
but may want to do "snowshoe treking!"
Wanna make my friends/colleagues involved in this field!

ホワイトデー for me.（笑） （Sweet gift for myself）

今日はホワイトデー。
で、写真は一足早いマイ・ホワイトデー（笑）。

職場の女性陣には、昨日買ったスイーツが好評だったみたいで、
選んだ僕としてもうれしい限りです。^^

それにしても、ここのスイーツは美味しい。
ちょっと並ぶのが難点か・・・^^;

Today, we celebrate (?) White-day in Japan:
the day men give back some gift such as cookies and so on
to women as a sign of "thank you," especially in return of
what men got at St.Valentine's day.
(In Japan, it's common at that day for women to give chocolates to men.)

And, this is "my white day" to thank myself. :)

My female colleagues seem to have enjoyed our gifts;
i'm happy to hear that as i chose them.

Anyway, the sweet at this patisserie is really great!
The problem is...you have to queue before getting them...

平日なのに・・・（Queue on a usual week-day in Japan）

今日はお休み。で、またお買い物（笑）。

国民的イベントには逆らえず、久しぶりにスイーツを買いに行きました。
平日でも並ぶとは聞いていたが・・・。^^;

ここのカヌレは絶品なので、今回も入手したかったのですが、
タイミングが早すぎたのか？ゲットできず（涙）。
でも、当初の目的は果たせたので今日は満足。^^

成果？の一部は明日公開！（乞うご期待？（笑））

Took a day off today, shopping again. :)

Went to Patiesserie to get honored sweets for the nation-wide event tomorrow.
Heard of its queue, but even week-day, you have to find it as above...

I really love Canele made by this shop, but couldn't find it today...
(maybe i was too early to visit there...)
But, my purpose of shopping today was done, satisfying me.

Will let you know what i got there tomorrow?!

準備万端？ （Prepared for the snow-shoe trekking planned next weekend!）

再来週の月曜日はお休みをいただく予定

つまり、来週末は４連休なのですー！
で、白馬にスキー＆スノーシュートレッキングを計画中。
そのため、今日はゲイターを購入。うふ。

今シーズンは冬山は遠慮していましたが、来シーズンはわからないので、
その点も踏まえて準備を進めているところです。

さ、今年はどこに行こうかな。^^

I'm planninig to visit Hakuba area, one of the places with tons of snow in Japan,
skiing and trekking with snow shoes to enjoy winter wonder land!

So, praparing for that, i got a set of spats (long one) to prevent snow
from coming into my shoes.

I might go to the winter mountains next season, so preparing for that.

太陽の子 （Sun Child）

タイトル見て「何？」と思った貴方、普通の人です（笑）。

先日、近所の南茨木駅前をうろついていたら、
突然、こんな像が立っているもんだからプチパニック状態（笑）。

某ニュースサイトに出ていたのでわかったのですが、
どうも、昨年の3/11の東日本大震災を踏まえた、
芸術家が作ったモニュメントの模様。

胸のガイガーカウンターが「ゼロ」を指しているのが、
放射能ゼロへのアピールのようです。

でも、なんだか・・・というのが本音ですが。^^;

This statue was built to hope that we will have peaceful lives
without nuclear contamination in the future.
(as it shows "zero" nuclear influence at the counter on his chest.)
I didn't know this kind of movement going underground...

I agree with the artist's idea and concept of this,
but... u know?
