I had a good Friday night.
There was a concert of Takagi Masakatsu in Kyoto and I went there with my friends.

He travels around the world documenting people's everyday lives, and then returns home to Japan where he delicately edits&creates videos and composes music. He lives in Kyoto.
It’s my first time to seehis him live, though I’d been listening to him for long time. The sound was just so beautiful and the visuals were was amazing. Listening to the lilting piano lines in his live performance, I almost cried. And right in front of my eyes, the sensuously striking motion video synchronizes as he plays the piano. Amazing.
In his video, people’s everyday lives are projected digitally, there people's motion, facial expressions, and nature things like water, light, wind etc, all that are brilliantly colored and vibrantly motioned. It was truly inspiring. Reminds me that the world is so much filled with color, sound, motion, and wonder.
