フィンランドのKARHUのALBATROSSになります。

其の歴史は、82年にデビュー致しまして、何と其の当時では画期的なエアークッション搭載で北米市場などではかなりの御好評だったそうです。シアトルに在住する友人が、米国のKARHUの代理店を為されておりまして、以前から、

（アメリカの極々普通のスポーツ店などでも年間2000〜3000足売れていますよ！と聞いておりまして以前から気にはなっていたのですが。

やはり自分自身が確かめてみないと販売だけするのは恐縮でしたので。

僕自身、現在もFUSION XCは毎日のランニングに使用しており、其のクッション性やFULCRUMテクノロジーの素晴らしさに感動しております。

本日、ご紹介のスニーカーは当時はタウンシューズとしてデビューしており色々な改良を加えられまして現在に至っております。

街の散策などと充分ファッションに溶け込んで頂ける一足かと思いますね。

This is ALBATROSS from KARHU from Finland.

実はALBATROSSは、アホウドリになりまして、ベロ部分の文字の後ろにはアホウドリのイラストが記載されております。

何故？アホウドリかシアトルの代理店の方に聞きましたところ、当時アホウドリの様に自由にと云う意味合いがあるそうです。

渡り鳥ですから自由自在に飛びまわれるからだと思いますね。

A.G.SPALDING&BROSのアーカイブから、1920年代に実在しました両Vスウェットを、現代の目線で再現した逸品！

From the A.G.SPALDING&BROS archives, this is a masterpiece that reproduces both V sweatshirts that existed in the 1920s from a modern perspective!

見ただけでも肌触り良さそうな起毛素材になります。

（実際心地良いですね！）

The brushed material feels nice to the touch just by looking at it.

(It actually feels good!)

こちらが、其の全貌となります。

Here is the whole picture.

首元には男好きされますガゼットが装備されております。

お色はライトグレーの杢になります。

The neck is equipped with a gusset that will appeal to men.

The color will be light gray heather.

こちらがバックスタイル！

This is the back style!

両Vになりますので、バックスタイルにもガゼットが装備されております。

この手合いヴィンテージ相場ではかなり高騰しておりますよね。

それから、

通称ガゼットスリーブになります。

ゆっくりと織られましたこの裏起毛は、肌触りも良くそのうえストレスフリーな着心地も体感して頂けますね。

それから未だギミックがございます。

This slowly woven brushed lining is soft to the touch and provides stress-free comfort.

Then there are still gimmicks.

上がチャンピオンのリバースウィーブで下がA.G,SPALDING&BROSの裾リブになります。

チャンピオンはリブに縫い目がありますが、SPALDINGには縫い目がございません。

って云う事は、筒状のリブなんです。

母体のスウェット自身も吊り編み機で筒状に織られており、裾リブも筒状なんです。

着心地自身、全くストレスがございませんね。

The top is Champion's reverse weave and the bottom is A.G, SPALDING & BROS's hem rib.

Champion has seams on the ribs, but SPALDING has no seams.

That means it's a cylindrical rib.

The sweatshirt itself is woven into a tube shape using a loop knitting machine, and the hem ribs are also tube-shaped.

The comfort itself is not stressful at all.

お袖口のリブも同様でチャンピオンには縫い目がございますが、SPALDINGには縫い目はございません。

このガゼットスリーブの形状自身、縫製も難しいのに筒状のリブを採用しております。

縫製工場泣かせの手仕事となります。

作り手の良いものを作りたい気持ちがこもりました逸品となります。

見た目はシンプルなのですが、色々なギミックが盛り込まれたスウェットになります。

僕自身、サンプルを着用しまして感動させられました。

唯一つ、僕には一番小さい36サイズが大き過ぎたのが残念でした。

すると、担当者が、

（34サイズ作りましょうか？）

（少しお時間は掛かりますが。）と、嬉しいお言葉を頂きましたので、

僕も即、

（お願いします！）と。

それくらい欲しい！と思わせる逸品でしたので。

The ribs on the cuffs are similar, and Champion has seams, but SPALDING has no seams.

The shape of this gusset sleeve itself is difficult to sew, but it uses cylindrical ribs.

It is handmade in a sewing factory.

I myself wore a sample and was impressed.

My only regret was that the smallest size, 36, was too big for me.

僕達は、長年愛用しまして、気兼ねなく素敵に自然に着熟してあげるのが、僕達消費者の役目だと思うのです。

まあ、そこまで日々、気負いを持って着用されずとも、良いものは長年愛用しておりますと、

（おや？こういう事なのか！）などと気付かせてもらえると思います。

RESOLUTEのジーパンみたいに！

最初は判らなく履いておりましても、履き込みますと、

（おや！この色落ち）

（おや！この生地の質感）

などと感じさせてくれますね。

そういう作り手を見つけるのが、僕の仕事だと思っております。

長々となりそうなので、
