鞍馬行脚 （Visiting Kurama-area）

折角の京都ということで、三十三間堂のあとは鞍馬温泉へ。
ここの露天風呂は値段は高い（\1,100也）が、雰囲気はグッド。
今日は雪が降っていたこともあり、身も心も洗われた感あり。

ついでに鞍馬のお寺を訪問（写真）。
１つだけかと思ったら、山の奥へいくつもある、ある。
貴船まで通じてるのはこのことね、と思い出しながらも、
雪の中を上まで登るのは結構な作業。
ばてばてで本殿まで着くのがやっとでしたね・・・

運動した後は、美玉屋の黒蜜だんごを手土産に、友人宅を訪問。
生後１０ヶ月になる娘さんと遊び、お互いに近況報告。
もうすぐ司法試験を受ける彼。頑張って欲しいものです。

After visiting Sanjyusangen-do, I went to Kurama hot springs to reflesh myself.
This onsen (hot spring) is one of my favorites: easy access and good atmosphere.
Though it's a bit expensive (\1,100), really enjoyed bathing there with some snow falling around.

Then I visited Kurama shrine (picture above), walking about an hour to climb up to the main shrine and down from there.
This area is famous for its beautiful shrines and paths between them.
Today there were some snow left, so it's a little harder than usual to get there.

The last event today was to meet my old friends living in Kyoto.
With famous sweet (Kuro-mitsu dango made by Mitama-ya), I visited them,
enjoying with their daughter whose age is just 10 months.
He is planning to take law exam this year; I hope he would pass it!

三十三間堂 （Sanjyusangen-do）

今週末は気兼ねない真の２連休！

昨日は観たかった『チーム・バチスタの栄光』を鑑賞。
竹内結子と阿部寛がいい味出してる。満足。

今日はこれも懸案だった、三十三間堂への訪問。
以前来たのは大学生の時かも。１０年以上ぶり。
1,001体ある千手観音像に加え、国宝の雷神・風神などの木像群。
いやぁ、日本人でよかったとなぜか思える一時でござんした。満足。

This weekend was TRUE WEEKEND!

So, I could enjoy watching the movie "The glory of Team Batista" yesterday.
Main characters were so good that I liked this movie: satisfied.

And today, I finally visited Sanjyusangen-do, very famous touristy spot in Kyoto in which 1,001 multiarmed deities and several statues of gods were accomodated.
This may be my second visit there; last time was over 10 years ago.
I like being there, giving me zen-feelings and making me relaxed.
Today, I felt happy with born in Japan.
Don't know why...
