Ｂ，Ｃ組の様子です。
小学校生活最後の図画工作科の題材は『時計づくり』です。
しな板にデザインをして掛け時計をつくります。
今日はそのデザインを考えるのと計画練りです。
3学期は5回の授業のため、計画的に進めないと終わりません。
活動時間は多くはないのですが、最後の作品なのでいいものをつくろう
と考えていました。
制作にはいろんなスタイルがあります。
中には作りながら計画を練り、デザインを構成していく人もいました。
時計というテーマは6年生にはぴったりでした。
小学校を振り返ってのデザイン、これから使いたいデザイン…
いろんな時計デザインが考案されていました。
やすりで角を少し丸くするだけでずいぶんと雰囲気がかわります。
そんなちょっとしたアイデアも6年生ならではという感じがします。

Students from class B.
After finishing the frame last week we can start to decorate inside it.
We need to use things which work on the transparent screen.
There are lots of materials.
Like these letter sequins.
“Wow, beautiful!”
I heard voices from here and there.
With different materials we can try to twist and turn.
Or crumple and stack them…
What sort of decorations will appear?!! It’s fun!!

People were looking forward to putting on the outside glaze.

I’ve been trying to keep everyone focused.
“Aaa, I put it where I didn’t want any…””
“What should I do, teacher, what should I do. Tell me!”
“Do!(small vice)”
I heard from around the room.
I could see that a lot of people were concentrating seriously, like a real potter!
It is unavoidable to leave some places where the fingers have gripped.
When people were finished I could see they were happy.
It was good to see such facial expressions.
Making good work makes the artist happy.
