CCTV Moment London Bridge Terrorists Are Shot DEAD By Police In Shower Of Bullets
THIS is the shocking moment armed police shot the three knife-wielding London Bridge jihadis who killed eight innocent people in a terrorist attack.
CCTV footage captured during the horror rampage shows the three attackers mercilessly stabbing bystanders shortly after fleeing their rented van.
The video, taken from cameras in Borough Market and lasting no more than a minute in length, shows the moment a fleet of armed police officers arrive at the scene and charge towards the attackers.
Just seconds before, all three attackers are seen running towards a man, before stabbing him repeatedly with knives and knocking him to the ground.
Crowds in the background can be seen fleeing in terror.
Within seconds armed officers arrive to a scene of devastation, jumping from a moving vehicle to immediately surround the attackers, firing shots in their direction.
All three attackers are then seen on the ground as further police surround their bodies.
The attack lasted eight minutes, during which eight people lost their lives, and at least 48 others suffered injuries.
In a statement outside Scotland Yard the morning after the atrocity, Ms Dick praised the “extraordinarily brave actions” by both on and off duty officers who were first on the scene.
She also praised the responses from all departments of the emergency services and members of the public who “ran towards the danger as this incident unfolded, with many risking their own safety to help others.”
The CCTV footage come just days after images emerged showing the attackers lying dead on the ground.
In one of the photographs, a jihadi is seen with canisters strapped to his body as part of a hoax ’suicide belt’.
Witnesses reported hearing the men saying: “This is for Allah”, as they left the vehicle and attacked victims.
The attacks come just days after ISIS channels on an encrypted messaging service called Telegram posted messages urging Muslims to attack with trucks and vehicles in the current holy month of Ramadan.
Jihadists have increasingly turned to soft targets in Western cities, with London struck for the third time in three months.
Saturday night’s carnage also comes less than a fortnight after the horrific Manchester Arena bombing that cost the lives of 22 innocent people.
