シカゴ （CHICAGO）

3日目はロンドンへ戻り、昼はマチネでミュージカル「シカゴ」を鑑賞。
映画で1度観てましたが、やはり舞台はいいですね。
取れた席がしかも一番前！だったので、演者の息遣いまで聞こえてきそう。
迫力ある舞台に大満足でした！

そして、夜は偶然参加することになった、Inseadの友人の誕生会へ。
知らない人もたくさんいましたが、Inseadの同級生もたくさん参加していて、
なかなか会えない人達と久しぶりの会話を楽しみました。
そこで経済の話が出るのは、やはりＭＢＡだからですかね・・・^^;

友人には浴衣をプレゼント。コスプレ好きな彼はかなり喜んでた様子で何よりです。

また、グループメイトだったオーストラリア人にも会うことができましたが、
彼は7月に日本へ来るとか。会う機会をもてればいいのですが。

The next day, I returned to London to watch matine, "CHICAGO," and join my friend's birthday party.

I have once watched "CHICAGO" on the movie, but the musical was different, maybe much better.
Especially, the seat was front row; so I could feel players' breaths.
I was really satisfied with it!

Then I joined party and had fun with my Insead friends there!
There were maybe over 20 Inseaders, most of whom were really surprised to see me. ^^
We talked about our recent issues, other friends, and economy...yeah, we are MBAs...

I presented Yukata, Japanese summer style of Kimono; he seemed really happy, making me happy, too.
(He likes to wear different costumes.)

I happened to meet one of my groupmates at Insead;
he plans to visit Japan this July.
I hope we could meet again in Tokyo!

9 3/4番線 （Platform 9 3/4）

ロンドンへ帰ったときのキングズ・クロス駅で、
ハリー・ポッターでおなじみの9 3/4番線をパチリ。

まだまだ観光客を集めている様子でした。^^

ケンブリッジ訪問 （Visiting Cambs）

2日目の夜は、友人達に会いにケンブリッジへ。
もう3回目なので、地図が無くてもそれなりには歩ける街でしたが、
中心部の様変わりにはちょっと驚き。
建設中だったものがどんどん出来上がっていました。

ケムでは、大学の同期の研究員、会社の留学仲間、Inseadの同期、と
色々な人と飲んで、しゃべって、旧交を温めてきました。
皆、なかなか大変な様子。
こちらも少し勇気をもらい、帰国後への糧としてきました。^^

2nd night was in Cambridge, the city where a lot of my friends live.
This was my 3rd visit to Cambs; developing city surprised me in terms of its change since I visited before.

I met a resercher at Cambs Univ. who is my friend at university,
MBA colleagues at my company, and a friend at Insead,
drinking and chatting with them.
It seemed that everybody has fun there but some problems.
I was encouraged by their challenging spirits to go forward. ^^
