有名な詩である。Writerは作家がではなく、詩人がと訳すべきかもしれない。
特に好きというわけではないが、経営者がよく引用する。日本水産の元常務から講話を聞いたのが最初かな。勇気を失い安楽を失う恐怖を思うようになったら経営を去るべきだ。確かそういう講話だったと思う。その通り実行できる人は経営者の半分もいないだろう。
