ヴェルサイユ (Versaille)

友人との約束が延び延びになっていたのですが、
先日ようやくヴェルサイユに行くことができました。

宮殿は初見では流石に豪勢！という感じでしたが、
中は想像よりも質素？でした。
個人的には他の有名な宮殿・城とかけ離れている感はあまり無く、
なぜヴェルサイユだけこれだけ有名なんだろう？という気分でしたね。

ですが、庭はちょっと格が違ってました。
その広さと各所に見られる様々な装飾・工夫は名前に足るという感じ。
数ｍもある刈り込みや、ワシントンDCのリフレクションプール周辺を
超える規模の見晴らしは気持ちよかったですね。

ただ、友達等と行く場合は携帯持参で行きましょう。
まず、はぐれます・・・^^;

To keep my promise with friends, we visited Versaille the other day.

The first impression of castle was superb but the interior looked
not so spearheading; I was wondering why only this castle was
more famous than other histrical ones.

However, the garden is great.
Its vast area and detailed decorations seen everywhere were
worth being praised and respected.
The high bush (several meters) and landscape that remined me of
the reflection pool area in Washington D.C. were very impressive.

FYI, when going with your friends and so on,
keep in mind to bring your own mobiles;
otherwise, you might have hard time to find your friends...
