プロヴァン中世祭 (Medieval Festival in Provins)

フォンティから北東へ車で小一時間のところに、
中世の家々がそのまま残っている街、プロヴァンがあります。
ここもユネスコの世界遺産の1つなので、以前から行ってみたかったところです。

で、今週末は年に1度の中世祭で、人々が当時の衣装を身にまとい、
パレードや大道芸などが行われていました。
というわけで、ちょうどこのタイミングに合わせて行って来ました。

友人達と行く予定でしたが、1人は宿題が終わらず、もう1人はそのために
勘違いしてすれ違いと結局1人で行って来ましたが、
こちらも勉強があるので、簡単に済ませて返ってよかったかも？（苦笑）
ちっちゃいながらもお祭り雰囲気で、屋台も美味しく、いい気分転換になりました。

Provins is the small city with Medieval houses and castle,
only 1 hour drive from Fonty and one of the world heritages.

This weekend has it once-a-year Medieval festival,
in which people there (and tourists!?) wear Medieval costume
and realize the scene at that time.
So, I visited Provins today to see this event.

At first, we were supposed to visit there in a group of 5 people,
but one could not finish her homework, and the other misunderstood
we would not go today due to her cancellation etc...
Then, I went there alone...
However, I enjoyed the atmosphere of festival, eating food bought at food stand.
