人を引き付ける力学①-Mechanism of attracting people①

人との人間関係を可動的にさせる二つの力がある。

There are two types of force to make a movable relationship.

引き寄せの力と引き離す力である。

Attracted force and Repel force.

これを説明するには物理学と化学について

説明しなくてはならないので、

To explain those two forces,

-it needs to tell about physics and chemistry.

今回は前置きとして知識について書き、

This time I will write about knowledge as a preface,

次回はその力学について述べていく予定だ。

-at next time, I will write about its mechanism.

私は物理学や化学が好きだ。だが、

I like physics and chemistry. But,

学校での勉強のように試験を受ける必要があれば、

If I need to take an exam like studying in a school.

突然、関心が消えてしまう。

Suddenly, interesting disappears.

勉強嫌いだが、関心がある分野の本を読むのは好きだ。

I am a study-hater but like to read books that interested kinds.

坐禅も学説とか、歴史や宗派など

To know zazen, also theories and its history or religious sects extra,

坐禅を正しく知るためにどうしても必要になってくる

-those come to necessary anyway to know zazen properly,

基本的な知識は飛ばし読みで

-reading those basic knowledges by skipping and jumping,

”だから、なんだ“

“So, what is it”

“それでどうなる”などの

“So how it becomes” extra,

結果部分を知るのに走る。

Run to know the result part.

見方を変えると、

To see another veiw point of it,

ずる賢い、美味しい果実だけを剥きとる利得主義に見えかねない。

-it may seem to be cunning, a gensenism which take off only juicy fruit.

だが、インタネットのクラウド社会では

But in this Internet-cloud society,

知識がありすぎて、

-too much of knowledge,

手っ取り早く選択しポイントを押さえないと、

-unless chose quickly and pick the point up

取り残されてしまう。

-we will be left behind.

学習塾を14年もやって学んだことは、

What I learned from had run my cram school for 14 years,

テストの成績に関わらない知識は売られないことだ。

-the knowledge does not relate with test scores cannot be sold.

反面、人々が好んで分かろうとする知識は

Oppositely, the knowledge people prefer to know is,

分かってためになる知識である。

-can be useful by knowing.

坐禅が職業であるお坊さんや指導者から見ると

私のブログは下品に見えるかも知れない。

A view point from a monk whose occupation is teaching zazen,

-or a professional zazen instructor, my blog may seem vulgar.

だが、私は坐禅自体聞いたこともない

坐禅の必要性すら感じたことのない

人向けに書いているので、

But, I write for readers who never heard about zazen,

-or people who never felt the necessity of doing zazen,

できる限り、知識部分、

-so as possible as I can, the knowledge part

つまり試験やテストと関係ない部分は省き、

-that is, leave out the part which related with test or exam,

坐禅を分かりやすくコンパクトサイズに書こうとしている。

-I am trying to write zazen in a compact size that easy to understand.

あえて、知識を意識に昇らせないようにして

No particularly, make knowledge unconscious,  

長期に渡り慣れさせていく、それが私のスタイルだ。

-get to used it in long term, that is my style.

知識にも二つのスタイルがあり、

Knowledge also has two types of style,

人を引き寄せる知識と

One is Attracting knowledge and

人を引き離す知識がある。

-the other is Repel knowledge.

引き寄せの知識は楽しく見え、

Attracting knowledge looks fun,

引き離す知識は複雑に見える。

-Repel knowledge looks complicated.

人々は楽しく見える知識が好きなのは明らかだ。

It is clear that people like knowledge looks fun.
