→汚れを落とすとは、
・to get the stain out
・to remove the stain from the clothes.等。

簡単に言うと、clean を用いて
・This (detergent) is good enough to clean these dirty clothes.
・This will clean the clothes completely.
・ This will make the clothes clean.


・With this, the clothes will be nearly new again.
・This detergent is very good for the clothes.
・With this, the stains will be gone easily.
・These clothes are dirty. With this, they will be clean again.


5. この服は私に合わない。
→似合うという言い方は、It becomes you. It suits you. It looks good on you. 等ある。
私の趣味に合わないのならば、端的に
・I don`t like these clothes.
good を使って
・The clothes are not good for me.
right を使って
・These are not the right clothes for me.
wear を使って
・I don`t want to wear these clothes.
合わないというのが、サイズを意味するのなら
・These clothes are too big/small for me.
make を使って
・These clothes will not make me look good(attractive, cool).


6. この帽子とジーンズはぴったりだ。
→This cap((hat) goes well with the jeans という。他には、best を使って
・This is the best hat for the jeans.

・This hat and the jeans. They look great together.
・You look great with this hat and the jeans.
・The combination is great between the hat and the jeans.
・This hat is perfect for the jeans.

1. 服はやっぱりユニクロだ。
→やっぱりとは、それ以外に何があるの、
ということならば、ネスカフェの宣伝であるようにUNIQLO, what else? となるか。
やっぱりというのは、問答無用で良いということなので、UNIQLO(brand) is always the best（clothes).
ユニクロ の服しか着ない、として
・I only wear UNIQLO`s clothes.
・UNIQLO is my only choice for clothes.
やっぱりとは、それしか考えられないので
・How could I wear clothes other than （他に）UNIIQLO?
やっぱりとは、愛してやまないことなので
・I love (to wear) UNIQLO.

牛乳の宣伝で「やっぱ牛乳でしょ」というのがあった。これはどうなるか。
かつて健康のために、皆でこぞって飲んでいた牛乳。現在では、多種多様な健康ドリンクが発売され、かつての勢いを失った牛乳。色々な選択肢がある中で、そろそろ昔を 思い出して、牛乳の良さを再発見してください、ということか。
・Having milk is the only choice for a healthy lifestyle.
・The key to a healthy life is to drink milk.
・Don`t forget the power of milk!
・Remember, milk is best for health.
・Drink milk, what else?

2. あの人と私は、服の好みが一緒だ。
→同じ種類のものが好き、として

・We have the same(similar) taste for clothes.
服の好みが一緒ということは、同じ服を着ていることが多いので

→What should I wear to the party? という言い方をする。他には、パーティにはどんな服が良いかと考えて、

→ダメにするとは。ruin, destroy,等ある。Alcohol ruined his life.
ダメにするを考える。ダメになるとは、具体的には、人それぞれの表現があるだろう。
酒が原因で、退職を余儀なくされた、
・He lost his job by drinking too much.
・His boss told him to leave his job because of alcohol.
・He got fired because of his bad drinking habit.
酒で嫁さんに逃げられた、なら
・He lost his wife, because of his bad drinking habit.
・His wife left him because he was drinking too much alcohol everyday. 酒を飲んで暴力をふるった（got violent) 、金を全部使い果たした（spent all the money on drinking)等の補足説明が要るかもしれない。
人生をダメにするということは、絶望的だとして
・His life is hopeless because of his drinking problem.
・He has no hope in life because of his too much drinking in the past.
・




9. 飲酒運転は罰金が３０万円だ。

→飲酒運転は DUI , drive under the influence of alcoholという言い方がある。
簡単に言うと、drive after drinking alcohol.
If you are drunk and drive a car, ～.
罰金はfine(s) という単語がある。
He paid ¥ 300,000 in fines.
罰金とは何か。悪いことをして支払うもの。
誰に支払うか？ 警察にである。よって
・He paid ¥ 300,000 to the police.

・He was driving after having beer at a party. He was drunk while he was driving his car. Then, a police man stopped him, and found he was drunk, so the police man told him to pay ¥300,000. 少し長いが。

・He was drunk, and driving his car. He got caught(捕まる） for drunk driving. He had to pay ¥～ to the police.

※ 警察に捕まる、という言い方は、
to get arrested
to get caught by police
the police catch you
the police stop you (捕まるというより、職質）

試しに手元の英英辞典でarrest を引いてみる。
・ If the police arrest someone, the person is taken to a police station and kept(拘留) there because the police believe they have done something illegal(違法）.

arrest という単語を具体的に説明している。
気になる単語を英英辞典で確かめるのは、非常に勉強になる。一つの単語を限られた語彙で
表現しなければならない辞書の発想は、英作をする上で役に立つ。

6. 酒は百薬の長。
→本来、酒は飲みすぎて肝臓を害するイメージがあるし、飲みすぎて暴力を振るったりと、とかく悪いイメージがある。あの、人生を棒にふる可能性のある酒が、何と百薬の長？その意外性の故に、日本の諺として伝承されている。
これが、野菜は百薬の長なら、当然であり、
諺にはならない。その辺りを表現できたらよいい。 Did you know that alcohol works like
medicine? Did you know ~で 、知っていましたか？ということ。これにより、意外性を表した。 Did you know 以下は、
alcohol is good for health.
alcohol solves all your problems.
alcohol cures all diseases.
alcohol makes everything better in your life.
alcohol keeps doctors away.
alcohol is better than any medicine.
等 色々あるだろう。

もちろん覚えやすいように、百薬の長と極端に言われているので、本当は 、ほどほどの酒量が良いに決まっている。適量の酒は、憂さ晴らしという意味でストレスへの耐性をつけ、血流を良くしてくれる。 A moderate amount of alcohol is good for health.



7. ビールとワインをちゃんぽんして悪る酔いした。

→to mix drinks という言い方がある。他に
・to have beer and wine together in one night.
・ Do not drink the different types of alcohol at a time, or you`ll be in trouble( =get very drunk).
・Drinking different types of alcohol at a time gets(makes) you drunk fast.
悪酔いとは、すごく酔うことなので、 to get very drunk
単純に、I got very very drunk after having a lot of beer and wine together.

悪酔いを、get very drunk 以外を考えると、
具体的には、get a headache, get angry, start giving someone trouble, to vomit( throw up) ,
He had too much beer and he fell asleep at the bar, and could not go home. start a fight with people around.
I drank too much, and regret（後悔）the next morning.
I drank too much. だけでも、飲み過ぎたわけであり、結果的に悪酔い、ということだろうか。
