隅田川の右岸、中央区日本橋に水天宮があります。半蔵門線の
水天宮前駅、歩いて０分。地上にでればすぐの神社です。
江戸時代から安産の神様として信仰を集めています。
今日は七五三のお祝いで訪れる親子連れで賑わっています。

同潤会アパートといえば、原宿の同潤会アパート（今は表参道ヒルズですが）
が有名ですが、江東区白河にも、その同潤会アパートがありました。
建て替えが行われて、今はご覧のような高層マンションが建っています。
時代の流れとはいえ、深川にも高層マンションが増えて街の景色も
変っていきますね。
A Doujunkai apartment (it is Omotesando Hills now) of Harajuku was
famous, but there was a Doujunkai apartment in Shirakawa, Koto-ku.
Redevelopment is performed, and a high-rise apartment such as
the photograph is built.
The times go by, and high-rise apartments increase in Fukagawa,
and the scenery of the town changes, too.
歌川広重が描いた新大橋の風景です。
題して、「大はしあたけの夕立」
夕立が降り始めて、新大橋を急いで渡る人々。川面には筏を操る人。
今の中央区側から江東区を見た風景なので、対岸は森下か常磐町
あたりでしょうか。
降りしきる雨が細かく彫られていて、構図もいいけど、彫り師や
刷り師の技量もすごいとおもいます。

The title is "an oohashi atak's shower".

The person who handles a raft in the surface of a river.
Because it is the scenery which looked at Koto-ku from the present
Chuuo-ku side, will the opposite bank be Morishita?
Rain is carved finely, and the composition is good, too.
I think that the ability of an engraver and the Rev. printing is
terrible.
両国橋と、清洲橋の間に掛かる橋で、斜張橋（しゃちょうきょう）といって、
川の真中あたりに建つ塔から斜めに張ったケーブルを橋桁に直接つなぎ
支える構造のものだそうです。
すごくシンプルだけど合理的な形だと思います。
夜はご覧のようにライトアップされてかなり綺麗ですよ。
歌川広重の江戸百景「大はしあたけの夕立」に描かれた大橋はこの
新大橋のことで、今の場所とは違うところに掛かっていたとのこと。

A tower is built in the middle of the river. This tower supports
a bridge with a cable set up diagonally directly.
It is simple structure, but thinks that it is rational form.
When it is night, this bridge is lighted up and is very beautiful.
Ohashi drawn on "o-hashi atankeno yuudachi" of Hiroshige
Utagawa is this shin-ohashi.
深川図書館の向かい側に、ババグーリという蔦のからまるショップが
あります。ヨーガンレールのブランドの一つだそうです。おじさんには
あまり縁のないお店ですが、一見の価値がある建物です。
このあたりは清澄公園、清澄庭園の近くということから、静かな雰囲
気の通りですが、外壁を覆う蔦の雰囲気は独特です。
今度中を覗いて、なにか買い物しようかな。
There is a shop getting twisted up of the ivy called "babaghuri" in
the opposite side of the Fukagawa library. It is the one of the
brands of "Jurgen Lehl". It is a shop without the relationship for
a middle-aged like me, but it is a building worth seeing.
This street is so quiet and in a neighborhood of kiyosumi-park.
The atmosphere of ivy covering the outer wall is unique.

建設されているので、眼の前をさえぎるものがないから、さぞかし

少し前に、清洲橋が優雅で美しいと書きました。
確かに遠目で見ていると美しいカーブを描いているのですが、
近寄って観察すると、実は鉄の塊なのですね。
専門的なことは判りませんが、鉄の板をボルトでつないで
全体で緩やかな曲線を描いていることが判ります。
この角度からみるとダイナミックな力強さを感じます。
I wrote that Kiyosu Bridge was elegant, and beautiful before.
It draws a beautiful curve from a distance, but, in fact, it is
surely a lump of the iron when it approaches, and it observes it.
Because I am not an expert, I cannot understand a technical
matter.
However,the bridge is tied a board of the iron to with a bolt,
and the whole bridgedraws a slow curve.
From this angle, I feel dynamic strength.

清澄通りから少し隅田川より、清澄庭園に隣接して建つこの深川図書館は、
なんでも昭和の初頭に建築されたものを平成５年になって改装したそうです。
正面から見ると重厚な感じがして、これから図書館にはいるぞという気分に
なり、なかなか雰囲気が良いです。
一階には雑誌類や子供の図書、２階には資料や一般向け蔵書があり、
日曜日などは結構にぎわっています。
The Fukagawa library is next to Kiyosumi-teien in a neighborhood of
Kiyosumidori. The library was built in the beginning of the Showa era.
In 1993, the building was redecorated.
Seeing from the front, I take a solid feeling.
There are magazines and the book of the child in the first floor.
There is a book for document about Koto-ku and public in the
second floor.
A lot of people come on Sunday.
歌川広重の萬年橋。亀がいますが、「鶴は千年、亀は万年」からきた洒落で、
遊び心にあふれた昔のポップアートみたいなものですか。
Mannen-basi which Hiroshige Utagawa drew.
There is a tortoise. It is a proverb that "the crane lives for 1000
years, but the tortoise lives in Mannen".
It is a thing such as the old pop art work that overflowed
in a sense of fun.
