英国の老舗ファブリックメーカーJoshua Ellisが織り上げます上質なヘリンボーン素材で作りこまれました

ダッフルコートは、他者の追従許さない逸品となります。

其の昔、HERMESが、輝いておりました時代（僕の主観になります）メンズのジャケットやスーツはローマの

BrioniがOEMを手掛けJOHN LOBB Paris（HERMESの本店の2階にございました）では、カントリーライン成る

シリーズが輩出されまして、PARABOOTがOEMを手掛けまして、ゴム引きコートは、MackintoshがOEMを手掛け

本日の本題のダッフルコートは、INVERTEREが手掛けておりました。

HERMESのOEMを受ける事が、世界の一流品の仲間入りと云う事で、其のブランド達も日の目を浴びる事となった

訳なんです。

僕達世代の方には、MOORBROOKのヘリンボーン生地が懐かしいと思われると思いますが、現代ではMOORBROOKが

所有されておりました古い織り機も、Joshua Ellisが所有しまして、かのヘリンボーン生地をゆっくりと織られている

訳なんです。

Made from high-quality herringbone material woven by long-established British fabric manufacturer Joshua Ellis.

A duffle coat is a masterpiece that no one else can match.

A long time ago, when HERMES was shining (my personal opinion), men's jackets and suits were made in Rome.

Brioni handles OEM and JOHN LOBB Paris (located on the second floor of HERMES main store) is a country line.

The series has been produced, and PARABOOT handles the OEM, and the rubberized coat is handled by Mackintosh as the OEM.

Today's main topic, the duffel coat, was made by INVERTERE.

Receiving OEM from HERMES means joining the world's top-class products, and those brands are now seeing the light of day.

こちらが、今年の新色のサックスブルーになります。

本当に発色の良い素敵なサックスブルーでジーパン好きの方には堪らないお色かと思いますね。

こちらが、現在ではJoshua Ellisでしか織れないヘリンボーン生地になります。

ウール100％で100年以上前の織り機で織られております。

パッと見（重そう！）と思われますが、着用されますと皆さん（軽い！）と其の着心地に魅了されておりますね。

其れも其の筈、生地自身は3mmほどの厚さがあるのですが、ヘリンボーンの織りが1.5mm位ありますので、

平たく言えば1.5mmの溝が生地に有る訳なんです。

其のおかげで軽量化、柔らかな着心地、空気を溜め込む保温力がある訳なんです。

素晴らしい生地なのですが、其の古い織り機でなければ作れない厄介な代物なんですね。

ダッフルコートも色々なブランドがあるのですが、どうせ買うなら最高の物を！お勧めさせて頂きます。

妥協されまして他社のを購入されましても、何時かINVERTEREを買うはめになってしまうのなら、高価でも最初に

購入しておけば、買い直しが無くなるので、長い目で見ればお買い得な訳なんですね。

（僕の人生の経験上）

詳細ですが、

This is now a herringbone fabric that can only be woven by Joshua Ellis.

Made of 100% wool and woven on a loom that is over 100 years old.

At first glance, it may seem heavy (it looks heavy!), but once you put it on, you will be fascinated by how light it is (light!) and how comfortable it is to wear.

As expected, the fabric itself is about 3mm thick, but the herringbone weave is about 1.5mm thick, so

To put it simply, there is a 1.5mm groove in the fabric.

Thanks to this, it is lightweight, soft to wear, and retains heat by trapping air.

It's a wonderful fabric, but it's a cumbersome item that can only be made using old looms.

There are many different brands of duffel coats, but if you're going to buy one, buy the best one! I would like to recommend it.

Even if you compromise and buy another company's product, if you end up having to buy INVERTERE someday, you should buy it first even if it is expensive.

If you buy it in advance, you won't have to buy it again, so it's a good deal in the long run.

CHAMPIONのARCHIVESから実際に存在しましたヴィンテージを忠実に再現復刻したシリーズになります。

This is a series that faithfully reproduces the vintage that actually existed from CHAMPION's ARCHIVES.

This time,

70年代のリバースウィーブになります。

米国の消防法でコットン100％の裏起毛が危険と判断された為、コットン82％アクリル12％そして杢状に表現する為

レーヨン6％混紡されたリバースウィーブになります。

吊り編み機でゆっくり織られましたふっくらとしました着心地最高のリバースウィーブになっております。

こちらは、日本の吊り編み機で生地を織っておりますので、米国製のあのガッシリした質感とは違いまして

ふっくらと柔らかい質感になっております。

It will be a 70's reverse weave.

Because the lining of 100% cotton was deemed dangerous under the U.S. Fire Service Act, it was created using 82% cotton, 12% acrylic, and a heathered appearance.

Reverse weave with 6% rayon blend.

Slowly woven on a loop knitting machine, it has a fluffy reverse weave that is extremely comfortable to wear.

This fabric is woven using a Japanese loop knitting machine, so it is different from the stiff texture of American-made fabrics.

It has a fluffy and soft texture.

リバースウィーブになっております当然ですが。

この見た目でも素材感の柔らかさがご理解して頂けると思います。

肉厚感は充分にございまして、ふっくらとしました着心地ですから、これからのシーズンには重宝して頂けると思います。

裾口やお袖口も当時のままの長リブを再現しております。

覗かせるのもお勧めな着熟しですね。

お袖口のリブをTURN UPされまして着熟してあげて下さい！

執事がいない方でも、ツィードはロープで縛り数ヶ月放置するとか着用されるまでに色々と手間暇掛けているそうです。

素敵な方は目に見えないところで色々と模索したり努力を重ねているのですね。

以前は、日本での王道JOHNSTONSを展開しておりましたが、ここ数年はJOSHUA ELLISを展開しております。

創業は30年ほどJOSHUA ELLISの方が古く、英国最古のテキスタイルメーカーになります。

250年も続くのにはやはり訳がありますよね。

中国やモンゴルでカシミアの糸を集めまして、英国本国で染色及び紡績を行っております。

この染色の色出しが本当にJOSHUAELLISは美しいですね。

Today we will be introducing a cashmere stole!

Previously, we were selling the classic JOHNSTONS in Japan, but in recent years we have been selling JOSHUA ELLIS.

JOSHUA ELLIS was founded about 30 years ago, making it the oldest textile manufacturer in the UK.

There is a reason why it has continued for 250 years.

We collect cashmere threads from China and Mongolia, and dye and spin them in the UK.

The color of this dyeing is really beautiful on JOSHUAELLIS.

先ずは初心者には打って付けのシルバーグレー！

First of all, silver gray is perfect for beginners!

上品なお色めで一目でクオリティーの高さを表現してくれますし、その上アウターやコートを選ばないのも嬉しいですね。

何にでもすんなりお似合いになるのがシルバーグレーですね。
