On my daughter's elementary school's graduation ceremony day(Mar. 2018), unfortunately, it was a rainy day😕, but her mom knew very well how to protect kimono on rainy days☺️. Her class went to the bowling game afterwards for their farewell party, so she had to take off immediately 😢
On this new years day, I totally forgot🤭 that I haven't taken the thread off which was sewn to adjust wearing for kids yet (since this kimono is still big for her, for this is for "coming of age ceremony": 8 more yrs. later).
Although she remembered she owns this, but she held back herself and didn't say any. What a humble girl she was!😮 Your mom was just only forgetting😅, that's all ^^; SO I took out this Furisode Kimono from kimono drawer and offered her to go to shrine and take some new year celebration pic. But she had a bit of fever and refused to go this year anymore. But maybe next year. 😏
昨年3月の小学校卒業式はあいにくの雨。しかし、滅多に着ることもなかろう式典おでかけ用洋服を揃える氣にはなれず、成人式用にとってある振袖に揚げをとって、もしものためにレインコートまで似合う色を買い足し、同じ足サイズゆえ、雨草履を履かせた。レンタル着物じゃないから準備にこしたことはない。
忙しさにかまけてまだ揚げをほどいてなかったのを思い出し、正月に着せればよかった！と元旦すぎた後にきづくと、遠慮してたそうな。なんで(*_*;？！！今からでも写真撮ろうよ。とたんすから一揃え出したが、「いや、なんだか風邪気味でしんどいから来年にする。」ですって。ざんねーん。
