Human papillomavirus vaccine (HPVv) is used worldwide for prevention of infection. However several reports link this vaccine, with immune-mediated reactions, especially with neurological manifestations. Our previous results showed that HPVv-Gardasil and aluminum-immunized mice developed behavioral impairments. Studies have shown a positive effect of phospholipid supplementation on depression and cognitive functions in mice. Therefore, our goal was to evaluate the effect of a dietary supplement on vaccine-induced depression. Sixty C57BL/6 female mice were immunized with HPVv-Gardasil, aluminum or the vehicle (n = 20 each group), and half of each group were fed 5 times per week with 0.2 ml of a dietary supplement enriched with phosphatidylcholine. The mice were evaluated for depression at 3 months of age, by the forced swimming test. Both the Gardasil and the aluminum-treated mice developed depressive-like behavior when compared to the control group. The HPVv-Gardasil-immunized mice supplemented with phosphatidylcholine significantly reduced their depressive symptoms. This study confirms our previous studies demonstrating depressive-like behavior in mice vaccinated with HPVv-Gardasil. In addition, it demonstrates the ability of phosphatidylcholine-enriched diet to attenuate depressive-like behavior in the HPVv-Gardasil-vaccinated mice. We suggest that phosphatidylcholine supplementation may serve as a treatment for patients suffering vaccine-related neurological manifestations.

経済的に貧困状態にある妊婦は、糖尿病や性感染症を患っている割合が高く、おなかの子に健康被害が生じる危険性があることが、千鳥橋病院（福岡市博多 区）など5病院の共同調査で明らかになった。食の偏りや予防接種を受けないなど、貧困と幼児期に関する調査は行われているが、胎児期から影響を及ぼしてい ることを示したデータはほとんどない。関係者は、妊娠初期からの早期支援の必要性を訴えている。

To identify clinical and quantitative relationship between vaccinations and small fiber neuropathy (SFN). SFN refers to damaged unmyelinated or thinly myelinated sensory and/or autonomic fibers. Diagnosis is primarily based on clinical presentation. Intraepidermal nerve fiber density can provide diagnostic confirmation with a sensitivity of 88% and a specificity of 91%. However, the possible association between vaccination and small fiber polyneuropathy is not well defined.
Case study.
Fourteen-year-old white adolescent girl presented with intractable generalized pain for 1.5 years. Burning dysesthetic pain began in the lower back and progressed to all extremities 9 days following human papillomavirus vaccination. The pain persisted despite various pain medications. Examination was significant for allodynia of right scapula (T4-T6) and decreased pinprick sensation in feet. MRI Brain with and without contrast, MR Face, Orbit with and without contrast, and MR Cervical, Lumbar spines with and without contrast were all normal. Nerve Conduction Studies/Electromyogram studies were unremarkable, and skin biopsy of the right thigh and foot showed low intraepidermal nerve fiber density with normal sweat gland nerve fiber density.
This case report describes an acute onset of non-length-dependent SFN potentially related to human papillomavirus vaccine administration. Literature review includes several similar case studies, and various pathological processes have been proposed for vaccine-associated polyneuropathies. Some theories describe immune-mediated hypersensitivity to the solvents/adjuvants and/or invasion of nervous system through a prolonged, less virulent infection. However, the lack requires that evidence must be carefully reviewed.
大阪市立大医学部付属病院（大阪市阿倍野区）は１４日、医師と事務職員の計２人が麻疹（はしか）に感染していたと発表した。他に看護師１人も感染が疑われている。同病院では、８月下旬に関西空港で集団感染した患者が受診していた。
発表では、皮膚科に勤める２０歳代の女性医師に今月９日から発熱と発疹があり、１２日に麻疹と判明。中央臨床検査部の２０歳代の女性事務職員も感染が確認された。女性看護師にも発熱があり、同病院は３人を発症直後から自宅待機にした。いずれも症状は軽いという。
関西空港で集団感染した患者は８月２６日、同病院２階の皮膚科 外来で受診し、３階の中央臨床検査部で検査を受けた。感染した女性医師は、患者が受診した診察室の隣の部屋で診察していたという。この医師が発症直前に診 察した患者２６２人は１４日現在、感染は確認されていない。
同病院は、中央臨床検査部で１２日午前８時半～同１１時半に採血検査を受けた人を対象に電話相談（午前９時～午後５時、０６・６６４５・２１２１）を受け付けている。

看護師さんからの報告のようです。
ロタテックを口から与え始めたら、患者の口の周り、目、右の耳が赤くなり始め、頭皮がまだらに赤くなった。
（看護師が）ラテックスの手袋をしていたので手袋を脱いで、手を洗った。医師を呼んでくる間に、発赤はなくなった。
父親の情報によると、患者の母親はラテックスアレルギーがあるということであった。
医師は、ラテックスの手袋をせずに、投与してみるよう言った。
発赤がほんの少しであるが観察された。
投与中止し、医師を呼んだが、隣室から医師が来る前に発赤はなくなった。
（医師が同席で）もう一度試してみたが、耳のそばがすこし赤くなった。投与中止した。耳の発赤は１２分で消えた。
これ以上の投与は中止した。患者は、苦痛はなく、息切れもなかった。
医師同席で、他のワクチンを投与した。何の反応もなかった。
アレルギーの注意を喚起するステッカーを、ラテックスアレルギーおよびロタテックアレルギーの項目に貼ったので、
ロタテックを投与されることは今後ないであろう。
