紹介したので今回はジャケ、音楽、詩（あえて”詩”）三拍子そろったシングル「Down In the Tube Station at Midnight」を！
ポール師匠はこの曲で詩の才能を開花させたといっても過言ではない、非常に重要な一曲です。アラン・シリトーばりのやり場のない焦燥感、抜け道のない長いトンネルばかりの労働者階級の人生をロンドン・チューブに喩え、それでも走り続けなければならない人生をアップテンポな曲調で盛り上げて行きます。まぎれもなくMy most favourite song of The Jam です！
